There is so much water coming in at this point there is literally no way to keep up with the influx of water.

If you had some of the biggest pumps available, and turned them on, you probably wouldn't even notice a difference in how fast the water would be coming in.

Needs to beat $1.8B to pass the '98 Quebec/Ontario storm. Slave Lake was $700M with 400+ buildings totally destroyed. If you add in Canmore, the fact that High River itself is dang near a total loss, Bragg Creek... this will be up there for sure.

That could be the case and more than likely is. I'm curious as to where it's all coming in - those big garage doors at the bottom of the ramps I suppose?

Any flooding near Crowchild and Kensington? Specifically east of that intersection near the schools.

Just trying to figure out how hellish my next couple weeks is going to be

Also, with W. Brett Wilson now as a partial owner of the Preds, there is a clear direct link to Calgary.

I hope the big animals don't have to go to the Courts Centre holding cells. The judges there will have them released to the streets in no time.

*Yes that's a joke making light of the situation. Not a serious attempt to use this situation as an opportunity to comment on an unrelated contentious issue.

Hey thanks everyone for the pictures and updates with context/locations. Lots of family and friends in Calgary but many landmarks have changed since I lived there.
