Jokipakka and Kulak in on Friday would be my guess.

Yeah. I can overlook Grossman. He's a vet, I can see a coach giving him the benefit of the doubt. The mistakes he made are the exact mistakes a reasonable coach can't expect from a vet. So I'm okay with that, just as long as Grossman is on a short leash and the young guys get a chance.

I can even understand the defensive pairing experiment.

But Wideman getting more time than Giordano? Being on the ice on 4 on 4 against an obvious McDavid line coming up? Hamilton getting the same time on ice as Engelland? Even accounting for the penalties, this doesn't make sense. This is not a good first impression in my opinion.

It's not even questionable. There was no penalty there. Wideman tapped him on the back and turned away.

I'm having my doubts that it will happen though when they go out sign a guy like Grossman.

I'd rather just have smart mobile Dmen than big hulking pylons. It's not that I mind big strong physical defensive Dmen, just get ones that can skate.

Wideman's contract cannot expire soon enough either.

Wideman, Engelland, Grossman all UFA's after this year. After that let's keep the D mobile.
Wish I had a thanks left for this.

Oh, and Nakladal wasn't signed.

Wow. In what world is Grossman a better option than Jokipakka? Talk about questionable coaching decisions Jesus. The guy is an absolute pylon.

not a single mention of the missed call during the intermission.

Sportsnet is pure, unadulterated garbage.

Has anyone else noticed how slow Lucic looks? Him His contract are literally going to be a boat anchor in a couple years.

When most of the fans never wanted him to be signed, it's not surprising.

as enraging as the game is seeing the baboons @$$ red face of katz say the words
"that's why kevin lowe won 6 stanley cups, he's a team player."
reassures me that the hilarious consistent downward trajectory of this franchise will never stop while he owns it.

"when kevin lowe came to me and told me to hire bob nicholson instead of firing him, i thought this is why kevin lowe has won 6 stanley cups."

never ever change katz
