Well all I hoped was that the Vikings kept it close with the Packers, which they did. Bridgewater needs to work on his accuracy and that joke of an O-Line needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.

Either that or they boxed that game.
Browns were very lucky that Falcons coach Mike Smith doesn't have a clue (like usual)
He leaves Cleveland with all their timeouts, and then, and THEN, to compound his mistake, he has them in a D which gives vast yardage in the middle of the field to protect the sidelines. Except, Cleveland had all their timeouts, so Cleveland didn't need sideline routes to stop the clock.
The entire sequence, from burning their own timeout rather than making Cleveland burn one, to the 3rd and 2 call (a back shoulder fade to Devin Hester 20 yards downfield? Really? REALLY?), to the defense after Cleveland got the ball back - that was a series of the most incompetent decisions I have ever seen a head coach make.

Johnny Football allegedly puts the beatdown on a fan who approached him:
http://www.clevescene.com/scene-and-...town-cleveland
Quote:
The alleged victim, 33-year-old Sandusky resident Chris Gonos, reported to police that he and his girlfriend spotted Manziel while waiting for an elevator at the high-end apartment complex, where many Cleveland professional athletes live, and professed his love to the rookie quarterback.
Gonos told police he pointed Manziel out to his girlfriend: "That's Johnny Manziel." Then he approached him.
According to the report, "at this time victim stated to the unidentified male, 'I'm the biggest Browns fan ever, I love you, I want to give you a hug.'"
Gonos stepped towards Manziel and was promptly punched in the face, the alleged victim's account to police says, followed by a beat down by Manziel's crew, giving the man a "swollen lip, right eye swollen, red face." A security guard intervened and also was hurt.

Browns having a great year but they did screw up their draft rather badly. Could have had Odell Beckham at 9 and, ummm, anyone other than the waste that is Manziel at 22. Imagine where they could be with a better draft.

Hindsight...you could make that case for almost every team.

what a weekend!!! I got to see the Habs beat the Bruins in the TD Garden, then got to head to Foxboro yesterday to see the Pats beat the Lions. Had row 20 seats on the 40 yard line, incredible!!!! Such a fun game to watch live, especially when you don't see a lot of games.
A little bummed as we took the commuter train to the game to avoid the ridiculous one road in, on road out they have going on (had to get to the airport directly after the game to come home). Had to run through Pearson to get my connecting flight in TO and landed at 1am. Exhausted but happy!!

Yep, they're allergic to the endzone in RZ plays lately, I don't get it. I haven't been this confused about a Saints team since the schizophrenic Aaron Brooks years.
This is the same team that throttled the Packers by 3 TD's earlier this month. Just have no idea what's going to happen week to week

The 5-10-1 dream lives. NFC South definitely disappoints.

So when does the NFL change the rule about playoffs? Make sure that the division winner is at least at a certain level in order to actually qualify. Make it so they have to be at .500 or the spot goes to the next best team, an extra WC team or something.
What team made the playoffs with the worst record? Was it Seattle in 2010 at 7-9? But they did win a playoff game that year...Lynch with that run...

I like how it is. Winning your division should be your main goal every year. Regardless of how crappy it is.
