Biden looking looking pretty rough today; not sure how much longer they can keep this facade of him acting like he can be President for 4.5 more years going. Also, cruising around with an active COVID infection and not even making an attempt to prevent spreading it is a nice touch:
That is not a confident walk up the steps. I breathed a sigh of relief when he actually made it. Like you said, 4.5 more years? Not a chance.
That was painful to watch. He’s decline has become apparent over these last few months and he needs to do the right thing and step down. If he is unwilling then I would hope his inner circle intervenes and causes him to reconsider. You simply can not be president with declining health. At this point rather than seek re-election I would be more concerned with his longevity. He does not look good and that’s without the Covid symptoms to boot.
If you think CNN is pro-Trump you really must be out in left field.
They have taken a rightward lurch recently. They didn't used to be like this. Did you see their RNC coverage? They gave huge praise for the speakers, especially that 3rd-rate rapper and Sarah Sanders.
Anyways, here's an ABC Documentary that is very well done. Talks about Trump's presidency and his threat to the continuation of the country as a democratic republic.

CNN has a history of jumping on bandwagons like this. They did it with Bush for a while and even with Trump after his presidential election victory against Clinton. They default to the American left, but will go with what's hot in the moment. They'll be quick to turn on him if he crashes and burns too.

One thing that's gotten lost lately, is how many people in Trump's admin the first time came out and talked about his lack of intelligence and understanding. Ha-ha
I mean, cmon, it's actually pretty funny thinking he's (or the other boogie men) are going to end the free world.
The sequel sounds like it will be even funnier than the original. He still likely loses, because the majority of Americans aren't fools, and will vote for good management. If not though, it's guaranteed laughs this time around watching America bite it's lip and try to get it over with again.

The whole point of gerrymandering is to ensure that they group fools appropriately to win as a collection of groupings
What the majority of people want is quite different from how election results are determined
A lot of effort has gone in to redrawing district maps in absurd ways for precisely this reason
You posted about something that you fully admit to not understanding and something that you aren’t willing to learn about. So I think that makes you the fool.
As one can see while explicit messaging using the now hot button term DEI is going down it’s been replaced with new wording like diverse experiences, belonging and diverse perspectives. It’s just boiler plate lawsuit avoidance. Again if you understood what well run DEI was you would read articles like this and see DEI will still exist just under less offensive names.
Fresh off my infraction from the mod saying I was posting misinformation, lies, and misogyny for not agreeing with DEI. Yet there are people on here praising the assassination attempt and wishing death on a former president with no infractions. That seems absolutely fair and completely legit. Regarding the DEI topic, I'll leave this here for you and the mod to watch. Let me know if you think the information in this video is full of misinformation, lies, and misogyny or just facts about where DEI came from and where it will likely end up.
Love a good double down on a crap hand. The boldness of it all

Perhaps Biden is finally starting to listen to reason. And yet his campaign continues to remain defiant. These people aren't this dumb. They have to see the writing on the wall at this point, right?
“The private conversations with the Hill are continuing,” a senior Democratic adviser told CNN, speaking on condition of anonymity to avoid alienating the campaign and the White House. “He’s being receptive. Not as defiant as he is publicly.”
“He’s gone from saying, ‘Kamala can’t win,’ to ‘Do you think Kamala can win? “ the adviser said. “It’s still unclear where he’s going to land but seems to be listening.
The Biden campaign, which is also facing a growing outcry from Democratic donors, dismissed the suggestion the president was rethinking his candidacy.
“If the facts matter – and they should – here is one: President Biden is the Democratic nominee and he is going to win this November,” Kevin Munoz, a Biden spokesman, told CNN.
The developments come at a crucial time for the Biden campaign. ABC News’ Jonathan Karl reported earlier Wednesday that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer told Biden on Saturday that it would be best if Biden bowed out of the presidential race.
In a statement responding to the ABC News reporting, a Schumer spokesperson said, “Unless ABC’s source is Senator Chuck Schumer or President Joe Biden the reporting is idle speculation. Leader Schumer conveyed the views of his caucus directly to President Biden on Saturday.”
I’m sure everyone will rush to watch the youtube video on DEI from a neckbeard incel gamer who makes videos about how he hates female video game characters, among other brilliant things:
“Why the media NEEDED Joker to Fail”
“SJW Culture is RUINING GAMING”
“”Last of Us 2 Could DAMAGE gaming for Years”
Hahahaha

So stack that on US cost of milk and out milk is lower cost here. So whether we pay as tax payers or as consumers doesn’t really matter. Without Tariffs/supply management or subsides we wouldn’t have a dairy industry.
Could we get lower cost US subsidized Milk? Probably but now you are putting food security in the hands of a foreign power which is not a good idea.
So if you accept the first step that a poultry or dairy industry is required then their is no real difference between the supply management option and the subsidy option to the consumer.
It's important to know that US milk and Canadian milk are not the same thing. Some people dont care, but many people would rather pay a premium for Canadian milk.
