One of the occupiers in the Olympic Plaza site told me that Cory Morgan called him a f@ggot for being on AISH.

Then the "spokesperson" told me he is protesting because his parents were so crappy that he had no idea that you had to go to college to be a doctor when he was growing up. "I had no idea the option even existed."

I asked him what he did for a living and he said "I raise money for charity."

The flyer they handed out that summarized their issues said nothing of substance...

I left more confused about the movement than when I entered.

If they camp really is empty right now I do hope the bylaw officers just start removing everything. Not sure how that would be a charter issue to clean up abandoned tents.

Although if they've abandoned the camp midday due to the weather it's not out of the realm of possibility that no one would be there tonight. I imagine they'd try to say "ok, one of two of us need to stay" and be unable to reach a decision on who has to stay.

Or even the 1-2 that get the short straws decide to abandon ship in the middle of the night.
