Teams typically want to have three goalies in the system they feel can play in the NHL. If they move Vladar, and Markstrom goes down with an injury in November, what does the goalie depth look like? Your starter is a guy with 8-10 games of NHL experience, and your backup is who?

Why? It's super uncertain if Wolf is ready to go in heavy. Sure he killed it in the minors but the NHL is different. He's undersized and it's going to be a question when bodies pile in front of him if he'll be able to work around it. Especially with a not so physically capable defence to clear bodies out, it's a real question if they're setting him up for failure, Zadorov or Weegar aside. No need to be heavy handed with the org. They need to set him up for success.

With some small moves in TO they could fit Tanev and Markstrom easily...also Lindholm if Calgary eats or they find a 3rd party. Could even sub Backlund if he really wants a shot at the cup and send Lindholm elsewhere.
