From Getbak on the last page
The Flames were represented by president of hockey operations Don Maloney, general manager Craig Conroy and players Mikael Backlund, Blake Coleman and Rasmus Andersson. Former Flames GM Brad Treliving (now GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs) and former Flames president of hockey operations Brian Burke (now executive director of the Professional Women's Hockey League Players' Association) also were attendance along with Boston Bruins coach Jim Montgomery, who coached Johnny with Dubuque in the United States Hockey League, Philadelphia Flyers president of hockey operations Keith Jones and Flyers coach John Tortorella.
The mourners also included Johnny's former Flames teammates Matthew Tkachuk (now with the Florida Panthers), Sam Bennett (Panthers), TJ Brodie (Chicago Blackhawks), Jacob Markstrom (New Jersey Devils) and Chris Tanev (Maple Leafs) and former Blue Jackets teammate Patrik Laine (Montreal Canadiens). Laine was joined by Canadiens president of hockey operations Jeff Gorton, coach Martin St. Louis, Canadiens players Cole Caufield, Cayden Primeau and Mike Matheson, Seth Jones and Connor Murphy of the Blackhawks and Dylan Larkin of the Detroit Red Wings

I expect many of these guys to be inspired to play with some of that passion and excitement we all saw from Johnny many times.

Understandable that life does go on, but the situation isn't a simple one. A bunch of these guys signed specifically to play together, the locker room is going to have a massive hole for the first bit here.
Hopefully the media goes easy on them with any Johnny related questions and just focuses on hockey.

I just had to go give my son a huge hug, who's 5 years old after watching that yesterday. Life is so unpredictable. He didn't know what was wrong with me but i had to do it.

My 5 year old was drawing yesterday, he told me not to look at it and asked me some questions. "What colour is Johnny Gaudreau's hair?", "What colour is Johnny Gaudreau's stick?", "What colour are Johnny Gaudreau's eyes?". It was a picture of Johnny with hearts all around it because "He was your favourite hockey player, daddy". He got a big hug after that.

The dirtbag drunk driver should be forced to watch that funeral on an infinite loop for the rest of his damn life.

Whaaat? I'm shocked....
Was hoping you'd put your campaign for public exoneration in the most inapropriate time and place on hold for a bit and attend to these issues that are plaguing you in a more healthy environment (not the internet).
You keep going back to the well of pain despite it ending the same way every time, with the same approach.
I guess no one can stop you except for the mods but really, this thread on the memorial day? Just stop.

Ummm maybe you should direct your attention at the guy who derailed the thread because I wanted to pust a goodbye post. What the mods should be targetting is personal attack posts for no reason like the one you just made. So take your own advice, just stop. This is not the place. Be better. Hopefully the next person who pulls this gets thrown in the sin bin. Stay on topic. Enough is enough.

Yeah, you know...I'm not usually a 'Vengeful' type of person, but this one kind of hurts me.
But thats okay. I can be forgiving. I'd be willing to pick this man up from Prison when he's released.
And when he's standing there waiting to get picked up...
"Oh God! Oh God! The Brakes aren't working!!" *THUMP*
No Jury in the Land would convict me.

Just infinity of a few second loop of Guy barely able to walk out of the church would be sufficient.

Glad to have you back (hopefully).
Looks like the CBJ Artillery fundraiser raised more than $92,000 for Matty Gaudreau. That's pretty impressive.
