In the event the forecast was wrong and it does go below freezing overnight, we are effed

And regardless of whether it's plus weather or not, I'd hate imagine what Deerfoot is going to be like tomorrow morning with a thick layer of slush on the road

But even for significant freezing on major roads, it would need to dip around -5 degrees. Side roads would probably be a little slippery.

Considering it was only raining this morning and yet it still brought Deerfoot to a near standstill, I am not looking forward to the drive to work tomorrow.

I'm thinking tomorrow will be a good day to work from home. Lunchtime nap and 2pm beers, here I come!

Glenmore's already got puddles everywhere, and I'm fully expecting someone's going to hydroplane into a wall or barrier at some point.

The concrete fish will absorb the collision and bounce the cars gently back on their merry way.

came from Didsbury this afternoon. They looked like they had gotten 5 cm in a matter of 3 hours.
Went into a home to list a house (just had been raining) and when I came out, truck was covered in snow.
