Oh that stuff was unreal. I forgot about how many gallons of that stuff we pounded back in Eastern Europe last summer.

For me, it's all about root beer. A&W, Dad's Mug, and then that Barq's crap.

Every once in a while, I'll get a big craving for diet Coke or Pepsi. I dunno what it is, it just has a little different taste (the aspartame instead of sugar?) and I'll fiend on that for a while.

Something similar in the UK - Pepsi Raw. It's made with cane sugar. It's decent.

Had a can of Pepsi Twist in Guatemala years ago. The sole difference is that it was a lime twist instead of lemon. It was really good.

But of all the standards, I'd have to say Dr. Pepper.

Coke, Ice cold - as long as it's canadian, not american. Mexican was good too.

Out of a really cold glass bottle is best.

Big fan of Vernor's Ginger Ale since I was a kid. I remember going to a deli in Detroit that sold Vernor's ice cream, which was deadly awesome. I still bring a case back whenever I visit home.

When I was little, you could only get it in the Windsor/Detroit area. It was a big treat when we went to visit my grandparents to get some. Now, you can get it all over southern Ontario.

Does anyone know of any place in town that carries it?

I don't drink alot of pop, but I gave these a go a few months ago and love them!!
They are the makers of those Beaver Buzz drinks, I like how there is no High Fructose Corn syrup in them!!

My fave is Diet Coke with a shot of regular Coke. Try it, folks. The squirt of Coke gives it almost a Coke taste but 90% of the drink is sugar free. A friend of mine has started ordering it and calls it a ***** (my last name) on the rocks.

Someone mentioned crappy tasting drinks. If anyone has been to World of Coke or a Coke store, you're probably tasted Coke beverages from around the world. It's interesting to taste what other people in other cultures drink, but some of that stuff is vile.

That's what makes it so good. Without that afterkick, it's just sweet brown caffeinated water.

Are you sure you're not the Bud Light guy of pop?
