Well everybody will be a part of the giant free agent pool, so there's that.

Also, some short words for play suggestion should be listed.

so that when someone is screaming 2-2-2 in my ear, I have a vague notion of what they are talking about.

That's a very good point. I thought I heard that you could just form a game with free agents (like a pickup game) if you weren't on a team.

On that note, are we going to require everyone having a headset? I dont have a blutooth... Also, it would probably be best that I dont have the ability to talk, I can get rather verbally abusive when losing... LOL

head sets would make things extraoridnarily easier
At this time I dont have a bluetooth head set for my PS3 and dont intend to go buy a stand alone one...esp since the new Socom that comes out in october will come packaged with one
so until mid october - no head set for me

Get a USB headset. They work with the PS3. I'm going to get one when I pick up my copy of the game.

just my opinion, but i think we need to be patient in setting up the league team. i saw there was already an attempt on the xbox side.

staypuft was the one that took the initiative to get a team together, so lets let him create the team. we need to decide what our name will be and what our jersey will look like and all that good stuff.

so just try to be patient guys. i would hate to see several different teams get created and lots of confusion because of it.

I'm not looking to join a team just yet.. but i'd like to play the occasional game online against someone, i'm sure the computer will get boring after the 50th game

I tried to tell myself that it would be smart to wait to set the team up, but who am I kidding, we all want to start playing.
I'll be in this thread consistently through the day and tonight to field any suggestions, but as of right now we are the CalgaryPuck Fata's and we can make a semi-informed decision on Jerseys when the time comes. I'd like to see for sure the options we have when it comes to what we wear (if anyone has the game now and wants to toy around and see what our options are, that would be great).

Anyway, point is, I'll be getting this up and running tonight, so don't go joining another team

Flames uniforms or anything close to it would be nice.

Also there's improved coaching in the game as well, so decisions like 1-2-2 or 2-1-2 forecheck, as well as breakouts should be interesting. If there's ways to set up practices or anything like that with other people, that would be important too, maybe see who can generate the most chemistry with other players.

yeah, i am working on a website so we can easily coordinate when games and/or practices might be. also a place where we can have player profiles or everyone and past results. simple stuff like that.

will post more info when i get a bit more mocked up.
