Carlos Zambrano of the Cubs no hits the Houston Astros in Milwaukee. Haven't heard much and didn't get to see the game...but it might be the first neutral site no hitter in baseball history. Only one walk away from a perfect game too.

I'm not a huge baseball mark, but is a no-hitter that big of a deal? There always seems to be 3 or 4 each season. A perfect game is way infinitely more impressive in my eyes

The same with hitting for the cycle -- wouldn't 4 home-runs be superior? Or even 2 doubles and 2 home-runs? It seems just like a novelty thing, that looks nice on the scoresheet, but not especially useful.

And how bout them Phillies? Pulling out some more late-season magic.

After getting swept by the Phillies over the weekend the Brewers have fired Yost.

The Brewers are reeling, second straight year they're going to choke away a playoff spot in September. Even if the Phillies don't knock em off....The Astros probably would.

Lost in the shadow of Yankee Stadium's closing, Shea quietly closed it's doors this past weekend. A writer and his boyhood friend make one last pilgrimage

Tomorrow I have a day off of work and tickets to the Flames game.

How do you spell pre-drankan by maself and watchen ball all day?

Really excited for Cubs Dodgers. Nothing satisfies me more than seeing the loveable losers lose. What series are you guys excited for? I think the DiceK v Santana game will be a good one. I will also definitely tune in to watch Ted Lilly get destroyed by TBA. Stupid Ted Lilly.
