I once got the license plate for a car involved in a drugstore robbery from the front plate. I sure as hell wouldn't have had time to go around, not that I would have dared to, for the fear of getting noticed.

Of course the car was propably stolen anyway, but still, not all needs to identify cars are traffic related, and in those cases it's pretty much 50/50 which plate would be more useful. In my ears having just one plate sounds just weird, kind of like the Brits having different taps for hot and cold water. Something not from this century.

i wanna see them black with white letters, that would look badass, or perhaps some nice subtle rockies in the background, if those aren't options, than keep it the same, or go back to the yellow and black, or the green and white!

and no front plates! the only vehicle i ever owned where i didn't rip off the plate/holder on the front was my dodge pickup, and i threw a confederate flag plate on the front. all they (usually) do is muddy up the lines of the car.
