Boy that was a rough game for San Jose last night. Glad the Flames took advantage of quite possibly the worst display of defense and lack of structure I've seen in a long time. This was the exact type of game Huberdeau would thrive in and I thought his line looked quite dangerous compared to previous games.
Good to Markstrom finally get the monkey off his back too. The team looked extra excited to see him get the win. Normally I'd say that that wining a back to back situation against a single team would be hard, but with the way the Sharks shot themselves in the foot and the lack of structure they play with, I'm not confident in them coming out with a victory. Maybe they'll surprise me, but Hertl is out and their depth is complete crap, so I got the Flames on Tuesday.
