He’s 100% accurate. Friday be an impact, but this thread would 3x as busy if we’d lost for the exact reason he said.

Maybe Johnny decided that since being good to start the year and bad to end the year didn’t work last year this year he’ll do the opposite. He looks like the Johnny we saw most of last season.
If they make the playoffs and he can play like this I like our odds.

Tried in vain to find the actual video of this online...(might do a crappy recording off the DVD sometime...)
Anyhow. Eugene Levy’s SCTV impersonation of Gino Vanelli is a classic. If you can find it, do yourself a favour and check it out.

It would be so delicious to feast on Oilers tears in the first round of the playoffs.

Watching the highlights from tonight I was very, very impressed with Cassie Campbell's commentary.
Check out her analysis of Gaudreau's goal. Her voice is energetic and she makes a precise, intelligent observation about how Gaudreau creates space by moving the puck. I thought she really added to the replays.

She's getting a lot better. Starting to become a fan.

I agree with this.
I also liked Ryan, Sarich and Stajan during the intermission.
Presentation wise, Sportsnet had a good night.

Vintage Gaudreau is so much fun to watch, thought Monahan had a really solid game on the defensive side of the puck. Forbort is growing on me...too soon to say he's an improvement on Hamonic? I haven't liked Hamonics game this year at all and would be happy to see him replaced by Forbort (3rd pair with Kylington)
Thought Cassie had a great colour call tonight! Starting to hear her and Ball get some chemistry. She's getting better which is good because I haven't been a fan of hers at all.

Good game by the flames. Gaudreau was flying out there. I liked Gustafsons game also.
Tomorrow's game should be awesome.

Is this suppose to be in green text as you are refering to Milli Vanilli a German duo.
Gino Vannelli is Canadian and was awesome in the 70's and not a cheater like that Raisatl duo.

Great post, as usual.
May I request a Canucks subsection for the remainder of the season similar to the Oilers one? Unusual circumstance to have all three rivals battling together.

No. Cassie Campbell definitely hadn't heard of him either. Which made everything a lot funnier.
