So what happens when 100 days from now the Trumpets haven't been given their 100k salary, the wall isn't built, Obamacare is gone and replaced by nothing, muslims still exist (and the database of their names/locations hasn't been made), Clinton ISN'T in jail, the EPA and NASA are gone, the VA hasn't had a single change... It goes on.

Trump is a clown, and I would have voted Clinton, but this result is good for one thing - to watch the hysterical over-reaction and hang-wringing of all those people who run around campuses, screaming about micro-aggressions and suppressing free speech. I guess democracy is only OK if the plebeian masses do what you think is best for them...

Looks like a lot of people have had enough of identity politics. It was the Independants that pushed this victory onto Trump.
The people calling anyone who supported/voted for Trump bigots, racist, sexist, and all the other ists and isms are the reason this happened. Take a bow and take your L.

At least now, America has a leader that actually fits with how the rest of the world views them.

But in 100 days Trump won't even be in office for a month yet. Do you think all that will be done in that short amount of time?

Yeah, I think Trump has a legitimate chance to be the first politician that doesn't live up to his campaign promises.
What will happen, hopefully, is that the democrats will get their #### together with some house cleaning and put in an honest politician en-route to a 2020 landslide victory.

Nate Silver had the odds at 72% Clinton and 28% Trump. It's unreal how far off the experts were from the actual outcome of the election.

America voted to halt progress, and possibly reverse it.

Polling is increasingly becoming guesswork instead of science. Polling companies have a pretty crappy future.

It's tempting to take satisfaction in their discomfort. But let's not kid ourselves - the handwringers and grievance industry aren't going away. They'll be more hysterical than ever now. The question is whether mainstream politicians and media have recognized how deeply unpopular identity politics are.

It's because the media and the system itself, shockingly, is incredibly out of touch with the dying middle class. This is who Trump got through to. This is why Trump got elected.

He was the only one that gave Trump any chance at all, and he even had an article that basically outlined exactly what happened last night; Clinton won the popular vote but a few percent lower than the polls and as a result lost a bunch of electoral votes.
Two coin flips, get heads both times, Trump wins.

I'll happily take my L (nice childish world star comment). Speaking of that, if you want to know the typical IQ of an American just visit the comment section of that site.
If you supported Trump you supported a racist and a sexist and any other ists and isms you can think of. That's the truth.

So if there exists a Trump/Russia bond, how do you think we'll see it manifest itself? Subversively or explicitly?

I doubt there's an actual Trump/Russia bond as in they planned anything.
I think Russia prefers and did what they could to get Trump elected because he is an advantage to them.
How does it manifest itself? Maybe Putin flexes his muscles and invades Estonia, to see if Trump does anything. If he doesn't, then what does that mean for NATO. Not sure if Putin would be that bold.
From the US side, it'll be interesting to see if Trump stops the plan to send troops into Eastern Europe. http://mashable.com/2016/03/30/ameri...astern-europe/
If he does, that'll be a pretty big signal.
