Away from home, Center Ice subscriber. You would think that subscribing to Center Ice would get you NHL TV too. Nope.
Also, DirecTV won't let you stream NHL games away from home. Which is very strange considering you absolutely CAN do that with NFL Sunday Ticket.
Frustrating. Looking like I won't be back home until the end of November. That's a lot of hockey to miss.
Hoping for good result tonight!

75,000 without power yesterday. Worst of it will come this weekend. the 90km/h winds tend to do some pretty good damage. I don't think we'll come close to the 500k without power that the storm last year brought.
I'll be attending the game and fully expect a dead crowd. They are giving away a free beer with your entry tonight I heard because the interest in tickets is the worst its been since the 1990s.
I hope the Flames crush tonight. They really do look like a team on the verge of breaking out. They have all the right components, the coach just needs to get used to his team.
Despite the ugly start I think GMBT has done amazing things by adding Elliott, Brouwer, Versteeg, Bennett, Frolik, Hamilton, etc and rebuilding quickly and efficiently.
There weren't a ton of grade 'A' coaching candidates available, and I'm just going to have to trust the Brad went through "the process" hiring Glen, and he's right for this team.
As a Flames fan currently living in Vancouver through this weather, the above post is way over-exaggerated.
Yes, some trees have fallen on people's homes, and there are power outages here and there. It is very tragic that someone lost their life.
But there is no need to "worry for the safety of the general public". This is a more intense storm than normal, but people are still going about their business. We are nowhere near a crisis situation; and I would encourage concerned CPers to devote their thoughts to more serious situations in the world.
Oh sure. The "shadowlord" says it's fine to walk around. Nice try grim reaper.
On an unrelated note I went for a walk in Vancouver today and there was water falling from the sky. I put on a jacket and was fine.

I think they've done that more often. Went to the home opener a couple years ago and there was a free beer included.

I live in Vancouver and am going to the game tonight. The weather is no joke though, I lost power yesterday for about 5 hours and there was quite a bit of damage throughout metro Vancouver. A tree unfortunately fell on a student and he tragically lost his life last night. I'd urge everyone who is attending to be careful tonight.
I like that Gulutzan isn't afraid to pull players out of the line up that don't preform. That was definitely a weakness with Hartley. I think things start to click tonight.
At least this way the players know where they stand and if they don't perform they don't play.
