Brooks Brothers (downtown, the real store, not the outlet) is having a great sale. 15% off of everything, even stuff that is already marked down. I ended up getting 6 pairs of socks and 4 shirts for 315. Regular price was 630.

Have had it on the wall for 2 hours and i'm loving it so far... Android built right in, so no need for an extra Kodi box. I was also able to talk the sales guy down another $200 off the already discounted price

whoa! can you install Kodi on it, with full capabilities? If that's the case, I may be looking towards a new Sony TV in the near future! (or other android run TV's)

I had to buy a toque at regular price, damn NDP or whatever.

I'd say that the deals are/were mostly on things that become obsolete and cheaper fast these days (i.e. electronics, computers, games etc.).

Was in the Okotoks Costco on Boxing day and the place was dead. It wasn't like last year where there was a mob people buying TV's. Staff were complaining about the lack of electronics sales.
Ending up buying my mother a 32" LED TV for her sewing room. It was her Christmas present from me.

Don't know if you're still looking, but was in a Sears yesterday and they had deals on Dysons until 12/31. I ended up getting a DC66 for $450.

Golf Town actually has a pretty good sale for all the golfers out there. Both in store and online.
Walked out with a new 3 wood and replaced my wedges. All at a respectable discount.
Even if you're not a golfer all their apparel including Under Armour ( they carry your standard hoodies etc) is 40% off which is better than Sport Cheks 20%

Our biggest issue with dog hair is never with the vacuum picking it up, it's trying to get the hair out of the power head later on. I find it just wraps around the bar. Every other week I spend half an hour taking the head apart to clean the bar. Is the Dyson any better for this?

Mine sure isn't. Comes apart easily enough, but between the wife and the pets, it only takes a few swipes to get wrapped in hair.

Hey Ken, thanks for responding to my PM and posting this crap. I am not this guy nor have I ever been, but it's awesome to know that mods can do and post whatever they want on this forum. Nothing but a bunch of pretentious pricks where it comes to many long time posters. Oh, I'm not talking about everyone. There are a number of good people here, but posters like MMF and now the mods ruin it for all. I'm simply trying to participate and talk about my favourite team, meanwhile we have all the "cool" kids doing and posting whatever they want. Accusations abound.
This would be an awesome forum if it wasn't for about 10 people who post here. There have been so many excellent members who have left over the years because of this crap. I know I'm gone after this post, but you know what? I don't care. I really wish people would stand up and post what they really think to some of you a**hats who post here and think you are so special. Ah yeah, the "cool" guys on the forums who can team up on others who post here and feel extra special and that fuzzy warm feeling when you think you've won.
I am a huge fan and hold the Calgary Flames dear to my heart, but I can't stand to watch these people get away with crap day after day. This forum could be so good, but alas it is filled with a number of members who love to pick on and alienate other members. It's sad and pathetic and I won't have any part of it any longer.
To those of you who are in the "cool" kids group. Go **** yourself.

Think it's pretty obvious Ken had a slip of the keyboard and it was an honest mistake.
As for the rest, relax baby. Plenty of posters have rebooted their CP lives before. You're so obviously Oilkiller, it's now been accidently confirmed by Ken, albeit in hilarious bumbling fashion. Just go with it, stop the denial, stop the insanity.
It's all good my baby.

No you need a custom title to be a cool kid!

Yes- an honest mistake. FWIW- I do not have any personal confirmation that Oilkiller and Igster are the same person, other than identical posting styles, personalities, location, habits, age, and social situation. And now similar outbursts can be added to that list.
So Igster, if you are not Oilkiller, you will have to accept that the similarities are so eerie that people will make that connection from time to time.
I had not corrected my previous mistake as this thread had gone back on track by the time I saw it; and didn't feel the need to distract further.
If you would like- I know Oilkiller's full name through discussions on other forums. We could have you go through our new authentication process so we can put this to bed once and for all.
Once again, I apologize for mixing up your name with another poster. The anti-telecommunications rant was what got me.
