I tjinknhe looks like guy that's doing his job. Out of the 6 people I keep company with, one wears a tie, and I would like it if he wore it like that. I guess some would say " like a boss."

I just think he's making a big show about how much he hates ties. Literally no one cares if you wear one or is forcing you to wear one, just don't wear one.

How can you possibly know that?

Because if anyone really cares or is forcing him, they'd force him not to wear it in such an obviously ridiculous manner.

Pint-sized Flames prospect Johnny Gaudreau has at least one star in his corner

Some interesting quotes from the article:
oh weird, Fleury found a way to get in the news again.

Regarding Burke's tie, it is for sure not worth caring about but I don't quite understand it either.

Too early for the set lines. It could change during the game so I wouldn't worry about it right now. I am just glad Gaudreau made the opening roster because he deserves it the way he played in the pre-season. I am sure Bennett would have been in the lineup as well if he wasn't injured at least for 9 games or less.

I wonder if Hartley is sending Setoguchi a message for putting him as a healthy scratch.

you're giving Burke exactly what he wants when you keep talking about it.

That line up is dreadfully dreadful. It should be fun to watch them work their buts off and I love cheering the kids on. It isn't criticism. It is an appropriate cap floor line up for a rebuilding team. But it won't win you many games

He's not a slob. The loosened tie is an affectation. Part of the persona Burke cultivates.

I kind of like the idea that our opening night lineup is below the cap floor of $51M(even if you include Ramo)*. It should really give management a lot of freedom to add to this team once its core matures.

*I remember that if we include Jones and Setoguchi we are cap compliant.

If I had my way:
-Bench Grats
-Put Jones into the lineup as RW alongside Stajan.

Then we've four 3rd lines.

Judging by my conversation I had with him at the chili's at the airport and the flight that followed tonight, I have come to the conclusion that burke's appearance is miticuliously maintained. That undone tie didn't move a mm

I thought someone mentioned that Burke has a bad shoulder and that's why he doesn't tie his tie. Maybe I am making that up. I have a bad shoulder and I can still tie a tie. If I couldn't, I wouldn't bother draping one around my shoulders.
