Another contributing factor to the lack of charges might be the toxicology report which has found that Ward was under the influence of weed high enough to impair judgement.

Toxicology reports revealed Kevin Ward Jr., was under the influence of marijuana on the night he was struck and killed by a sprint car driven by Tony Stewart, Ontario County (N.Y.) District Attorney Michael Tantillo said Wednesday.
At a news conference to announce that a grand jury had declined to indict Stewart in Ward's death, Tantillo said the level of marijuana in Ward's system was high enough to impair judgment.

Anyway to me the contributing factor to the lack of charges was the dude ran on a track full of race cars. Stewart is a competitor and maybe even a hothead at times...but killer was stretching it.

Care to elaborate, or is this just your 'expert' opinion?

His history of being a hothead and the video that imo clearly showed him goose the accelerator. It is not an expert opinion, just an opinion, don't be an ass.

I can(and do) believe Tony would "goose the accelerator" to make a noise and maybe even spray the kid with dirt(like giving him a big middle finger) but lets face it..in no way would he want to hit him.

In one of the links it days video forensics determined the car did not change direction until after it made contact with the victim. So one could argue that Tony never saw the guy on the track.

If either of you jokers have ever seen, let alone sat in a sprint car, you'd know he never saw him.
Ps. don't talk out your ass, and I promise not to be one.

These guys in their racecars with the neck bracing and small windows can barely see crap. The guy had a lapse in judgment and stepped in front of a vehicle in the dark. It sucks that it was fatal.
I don't like what I've heard from the toxicology reporting. Pot in intense situations is almost completely canceled out by adrenaline. Imagine playing hockey, contact sports, skiing or snowboarding while baked... It doesn't make you ######ed like it does when youre at home on the couch .

So how did the other guy in front of Stewart go around him easily if you can't see out of a Sprint car as you claim? The fact that you can't make an argument without name calling says volumes. My opinion is he was just trying to spray him with some dirt, that would be totally something Stewart would do and you know it. I never said he had intent to injure or kill the guy. You feel otherwise, great, make a constructive post about it instead of acting like a 10 year old girl who is defending Justin Bieber.
