Having said that... 1, maybe 2 shots on goal in the entire third period???? Pathetic.
Toronto got ZERO shots in the third and overtime against Pittsburgh tonight.

According to the boxscore, McGrattan played 5:44 of icetime. Sure seemed to me like he played more than that.

The thing is, that he's a completely different type of goalie than most. He plays the game more in a Dominik Hasek style of controlled flopping. He didn't give up a goal doing that and made a few good save. The only bad goal was the 3rd one, but on the whole he looks more comfortable out there and is not giving up nearly the same amount of rebounds that he was before.

The timing of his goals are more than horrendous though. That said enough is enough. Put Ramo in there!

Heh. Cammy forcing pucks out of the zone turning into bad turnovers didn't help. The third goal was crap on Berra's part. The no call on the Bouma hit is infuriating and even more compounded by the comments made by Johnson. The last half of the third was a total nightmare.

Cammy deserve some goat horns too for the abysmal play in the third.

Losing Wideman almost in the third was scary. Would be devastating for the Flames D if they lost him too.

Pfft, that's only 2 shifts.

For him.

But yeah, seemed like he was out a lot more, which is good. He was noticeable.

But they blew a bigger lead, and they're actually expected to be good, so it looks worse for them.

The Oilers only solid players night in and night out ARE their young guys. Their management has surrounded them with terrible veteran depth and AHL level defensemen.

I wouldn't be blaming the Oilers faults on the young guys.

I called it. As soon as Baertschi missed that open net I knew it was over. Then at the end of the game before that faceoff I said Kane would score sometime in the next 24.5 seconds... I hate being right sometimes... On a positive note, Monahan scored and McGrattan laid a beating on Bollig. Oh, and the number of bandwagon Blackhawk fans at the dome tonight absolutely annoyed the #### out of me! 6 years ago they were nowhere to be found...

I noticed him trying to run guys rather then going back to change or play D right before the second goal.

missed net, icing, turnover at the blueline that lead directly to the winning goal

if there is a goat its him...I never said he wasn't an NHL player like I'm being accused of. I do question if he has what it takes to be a high impact NHL player but so do Flames management so I can't be too far out to lunch.

I have my opinion you have yours no need to FmyP

true, Oilers young forwards take all the heat but to be honest if they had some decent vets (like the Flames do) they would be doing far better

American Thanksgiving. You can probably skip the game, thanks to the Anaheim Curse though. Or perhaps a 2pm start will get them to break it?
