Ya I have to agree with you guys, lox is freaking brutal. The only guy that I am yet to beat in multiple games is him. He just stands you up at the blue line in a trap style d and is always looking for the trailer on the rush it just kills my team! I am definitely not looking forward to playoffs against him haha.

I try to keep a good positional D going with strong backcheck....unfortunately that means using the pokecheck a ton to break up passing lanes and cause turnovers for my fairly speedy forwards to turn back up the ice. Playoffs will be tough there are some good teams/players here.

Good news is we recruited four more new gm's today. I think the only one open is Columbus. I've tried to make sure they all get on here so we know who they are in the mean time just use Xbox messaging. Ill update the player list thread tomorrow!

The more the merrier! As before keep me posted as to any player issues.

What's people's opinions on NYI and PIT keep em for one more advance or boot em since it seems like we got active people banging on the door! I'm good either way.

I am actually yet to be able to play philly in our 3 or 4 games we have had, I'll admit I didn't put in a ton of effort to get the game in though.

Maybe at the start or end of every block there should be an activity check, on the chatbox of gm connected? Could give maybe a 2 or 3 day window to confirm you're active? Thoughts? Pretty simple and easy, shows that you're at least logging on in an attempt to play your games too.

Reminder for all GM's: If you haven't created a text+ account please do so. It makes it really easy to schedule matchups as it works just like texting on your phone (however it gives you a separate number that only corresponds with your text + account). PLease download it on your phone and i think you'll really enjoy it.

If you aren't concerned with sharing your actual cell number for texting matchups then that's fine to (I'd like to assume no one in the league would use your number for anything else, I'm sure we're all good ethical people, right?)

Either way please post your text+ in the text+ thread we have, or else just post your cell number in that thread and then the forum mod will update the list. I think if everyone gets on that for scheduling it'll make the periods go much more smoothly.

Hey Trap, is it possible to set up a group for all the GMs in Text+? That way mass messages would be able to be sent out easily. Just an idea.

I don't think all gm's would enjoy having a mass text everytime someone posts something. I think we'll keep the mass messages to the forum and keep text+ for GM to GM discussions. Is that okay?

Victory Juice and I should have a phone by tonight as he just picked up the samsung 3s or whatever it is... assuming that phone can get text+! if not, i have an iphone coming next week so we will get it as soon as possible

Feel pretty bad for Slybomb / Detroit, the AI just absolutely gifted me a game against him, there was no way I could possibly lose. I've had it happen to me, too, so I know the feeling.

Yeah. After the 3rd goal I was just running around with chara trying to hit people and that didn't even work very well. My goal in this league is to beat you one time. Haha

Hey guys, this is the new Florida GM. Please feel free to message me whenever you see me online in order to play our games, whether I'm playing NHL or not. I'm very active, and am addicted to this game with no NHL hockey going on. I tried downloading Text+, but the app says I'm not eligible for the download. I think it has something to do with me being in the US. My cell is 848-218-2764, so texting works too.

Looking forward to getting back into the playoff race!
