The only problem with this is that it mostly affects blue states.

Too bad. They have to pay the price for selecting Biden for re-election. Sit in the dark losers!

Say what you want about Trudeau, he's delivering one hell of a bitch slap right now.
Whether or not it resonates in the US remains to be seen. But the rising costs to Americans will.

Red, blue. Doesn't matter, the American public are going to have to put pressure on the dummy. At this point they are the only ones who will be able to change things.

I didn't say all Americans, I meant the ones that Cowboy discussed. And yes, they are delusional. And no, at this point their delusions got them where they and us are, so I don't feel bad for THEM. Many of them still support Trump. You can feel sympathy all you want. Not me. I don't typically feel sympathy for someone cheering on the guy beating me up. Maybe I'm weird that way.

He came close with this quote.

There is a very purposeful language in continually using "Donald" over "President Trump". But I'm not sure if he is trying to bring it to a personal conversational level to a person as opposed to an Office, or if it is an insult to only continually use his first name. I don't recall hearing press conferences mentioning "Emmanuel" or "Keir" as often by their first names.

I never said the word 'Sympathy.' I said 'Empathy.'
They may be delusional but I feel that is because they are misinformed. Another of your Crusades I believe.
That doesn't make them bad people. Just misled.

99% of my coworkers are in the US and frankly most of them seem oblivious to this or only vaguely aware. Whether they're trump supporters or vice versa.
Why are you guys booing us at hockey games? Why are you so mad at us?

Seems to me like it's him just trying to talk to Trump on a more personal level.

I just got back from visiting my inlaws in Chicago. and they asked, "is canada paying attention to the stupid things trump says?" and I had to reply, many Canadians are anxious that trump wants to annex Canada, and people are constantly talking about it. They were surprised to say the least. It is hard to say that Americans have noticed us at all.

Yep. They're more focused on egg prices than Trump's attacks on Canada.
I have to go to the US in a month for work so that'll be fun. Hopefully my plane doesn't crash.

Ever since he's stepped down or announced his departure, he's turned into someone with a spine and dropped the whole holier than thou act he's been carrying. Too bad he couldn't have figured this out 6-7 years ago because this version of him is something I can live with.
Donald isn't going to like the verbiage and it was said like that for a reason.

Americans have always been self absorbed, but now they're particularly conditioned through social media & misinformation to be completely oblivious to what's going on.
It's why someone like Trump could get elected in the first place and why their democratic institutions are falling so easily.
I don't think there's a way back now.
