However, this also doesn’t appear to be an urgent deal to get done. The Flames are still not ready to give up on the season and have said they’re not looking to trade Kadri, so things won’t start taking off until Kadri is ready to go to management and tell them it's time to move on. No indication he’s even close to doing that yet, if at all

Stars are not a great trade partner for Kadri in my mind. I feel like he would be a perfect fit with the maturity he would bring to Montreal. Stars are definitely more of a contender however.

And the Stars don’t need Kadri anyway. They have Johnston and Hintz. They aren’t trading for Kadri to play 3C.

That doesn't mean he 'heard' every aspect of it. Most is filler and opinion.

Yeah, he likely heard that Seguin hasn’t had surgery yet. And then he went on. It’s important for the SN guys to mention Canadian teams, so they tend to cram stuff in. Seguin has been out for a while. He didn’t play centre when he was active. It’s stuff we talked about weeks ago.
