Speak for yourself. I believe in overreacting to the standings every 20 minutes!

If we are right there in the playoff race at the deadline, no way the dinosaurs let Conroy sell Kadri and Coleman.

It just isn't going to happen.

Montreal is panicking a bit. Called up 3 players after a bad loss. They should panic into a bad trade with us Hage please

Here is a blurb from Kypreos recent article. Most people won’t like it

https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article...anevs-injury/?

• Tyler Seguin is yet to have surgery, but his season-ending injury has opened a bit of a hole in the Stars’ lineup and so now they are becoming a likely destination for Nazem Kadri should he get traded. However, this also doesn’t appear to be an urgent deal to get done. The Flames are still not ready to give up on the season and have said they’re not looking to trade Kadri, so things won’t start taking off until Kadri is ready to go to management and tell them it's time to move on. No indication he’s even close to doing that yet, if at all

Stars are not a great trade partner for Kadri in my mind. I feel like he would be a perfect fit with the maturity he would bring to Montreal. Stars are definitely more of a contender however.

And the Stars don’t need Kadri anyway. They have Johnston and Hintz. They aren’t trading for Kadri to play 3C.

It was in a section of the article titled “what I am hearing” so if it was just his opinion wouldn’t he call it “what I am thinking”?

That doesn't mean he 'heard' every aspect of it. Most is filler and opinion.

Yeah, he likely heard that Seguin hasn’t had surgery yet. And then he went on. It’s important for the SN guys to mention Canadian teams, so they tend to cram stuff in. Seguin has been out for a while. He didn’t play centre when he was active. It’s stuff we talked about weeks ago.

All of the media insiders have said we do not have interest in trading Kadri or Coleman. It is not a surprise.

Because they all repeat each other, and because they know what gets clicks. But keep biting!

I didn't expect a Kadri trade anyways.

Andersson is likely. Coleman also has a greater chance of going than Kadri, but probably takes an offer that incentivises CC.

Hoping two of the three go... somehow.

Solidifying Yan in the line up and auditioning Brz looks to me like they're prepping ahead for the Andersson move.

I'm pretty sure Kadri had his career year in part due to playing with Rantanen and Landeskog, when MacKinnon was out. Kadri and Rantanen also had some pretty good chemistry on the PP. So if I squint a bit, I could see it working.

Two combinations that were successful last year:
Robertson - Hintz - Johnston
Benn/Steel - Kadri - Rantanen
Steel/Benn - Duchene - Bourque

or If the want to go with 3 lines:
Steel - Kadri - Rantanen
Robertson - Hintz - Bourque
Duchene - Johnston - Benn

I think it comes down to if the Stars see Johnston more as a C, or RW. So far, his usage is similar to how Lindholm was used here. Johnston spent 54% of his time at C, and 46% at RW.

Really? Them saying Kadri won't be traded generates more clicks then saying he will get traded?

Seems like a bit of a reach

When everyone zigs, you draw more attention by zagging.
