I may be mis-remembering but didn't we have a similar missed high stick that resulted in a goal against us and the consensus on here was that isn't a reviewable play?

First off screw the Oilers, their tears feed my soul. Secondly listening to Baghdad Bob whining during the game call on the radio is hilarious, you have to find the humour in it or else it'll drive you crazy.
When I watch that video clip I don't see the puck hit the stick but I do see it start to flutter in a different motion when it's close to the stick. I'd say that it must likely hit it but would have to say inconclusive.

A great coach who had his career nearly destroyed by the Oilers' ineptitude. His own horrible mistake ever taking that job, no doubt, but it would be sweet to see him stick it to them.

I didn't see the game. But, looking at that replay, I must ask, who touched the puck next? If the puck came down and hit Ekholm in the ass, as looks possible, because the clip is incomplete, then play continues.
As far as "not getting the calls", I would remind Oil fans that, in my 60 years of watching hockey, it seems that the referees often let everything short of mass-murder go in the 3rd period and OT of playoff games. You are just not going to get the same friendly calls...in the playoffs...on the road...game on the line. Living by homer regular season calls is a losing tactic.

Wow. Yeah it didn't.
What the hell were the CHED guys seeing that they were so irate? Did they try using their eyeballs?
League looked at a non-touch for 10 minutes to ensure it. I'd say they gave the Oilers more than they deserved in terms of due diligence.
More so when you consider that diarrhea from Woodcock after the game.
Refs/Toronto arent screwing you over. Your team is undisciplined and the Kings and their goalie are better than you gave them credit for.

In game one, it was you telling Flame fans that complaining about the refs is a bad look. Now the shoe is on the other foot, so don't be surprised when you take some heat for it.

There's people in that tweet saying because the stick moves it had to have hit it. Not necessarily. He could have easily been trying to avoid making contact by moving the stick.

Canucks fan guy should try being smarter than those biased Oilers coke snorters.
The hypocrisy and shame from earlier in the thread is pretty tasty.
I'm so glad I never bailed ship to actually bite on these yet unproven PP darlings.
They're good at playing end to end with regular season standards. The playoffs aren't that. Not when the other coach has intimate knowledge of what he's up against and they have a better goalie.
Who would've thought that a team with Kane and Draisaitl would have discipline issues.

Now there is a guy calling in saying that Bettman is arranging it so Canadian teams will lose and that he influenced the video review tonight.
There was a caller earlier that was so angry I thought he was going to murder someone.

I dunno, the toe of the stick moves right at the right time for the puck to have hit it... if it didn't that's one hell of an optical illusion.
I mean I'm glad, obviously. Hopefully it happens to them again next game.

Actually though, keep the carb heavy treats away from that guy this series. With how worked up he's getting he could stress eat himself into an early grave.
I hope he's made some dietary changes in recent times. Not even trying to be mean .. I've rarely seen a more unhealthy looking person on TV. Every time I'm worried thar he's going to keel over.
And covering the Oilers as a guy paid to cheerlead can't be helping that.
