he wasnt brought in too make Cutler a star, he was brought in to win games and he cant do it. regardless of what you think of Cutler, there is enough talent on this team to at least be a 8-10 win team.

He has been a poor playcaller and it was his decision to hire his personnel including Mel Tucker.

they like to make the point that Cutler was in on the decision making for the coach, he was brought in to take cutler to the next level, much like Norv Turner was brought in to take Rivers to the next level. Just my thoughts.

Most points surrendered by a Bears team in one half...in their entire history.

Pretty funny/telling clip of any chance of the backup getting into a game ahead of Peyton.

The Sunday night games have been pretty lousy so far this year. Been a bad season for prime time games.

I'm expecting the game tonight to be awful.

Palmer officially out for the year, can Drew Stanton Trent Dilfer the Cards to the Superbowl?

Edit: I don't think he can. I know you can only play the games on your schedule but they really only have 1 decent win IMO (Eagles). Everything else is either beating bad or teams decimated by injury. The one good team they faced shellacked them. Gotta think GB is the frontrunner in the NFC right now, they're the only team I "trust" to be who they look like.

Detroit already hammered the Packers this year. If Arizona is not the frontrunner, it has to be Detroit. Green Bay still has a terrible defense and needs Rodgers to carry them (see the Saints game). Detroit is the only other team besides Arizona that can be considered the NFC front runner IMO.

Your saying that like arizona haven't had any injuries. They have been depleted all year and still winning games.

You do realize Arizona has been dealing with injuries all year as well, right? And for the record, Stanton has been playing just as good as Palmer. Arians makes the Cardinals play a team game, where there is a new star each and every game. That one game we lost was when Peyton Manning was on a role. He's cooled down a bit, but you are seriously underrating the Cardinals. We've beaten the 49ers, who have had their problems, also beat the Chargers (who looked very good at the beginning of the year), and the Eagles have just made us a better team. Our defense is one of the best in the league, clearly shown in the Rams game.

Mayhaps the Cardinals are legit, we'll find out soon enough. Detroit comes into your house this week right? Should be a good measuring stick.

Can't see the Packers being the frontrunner. Their defense is just not that great and neither is the run game though obviously Rodgers can throw the ball.

The Cards and 49ers are both going to be tough outs in the playoffs as will the Eagles, a team that probably should have beat the Cardinals a few weeks back if Chip Kelly hadn't kicked that field goal. Only thing we know for sure is the South won't be a factor.

The next two games are tough. If we can pull out a win either against the Lions or the Seahawks at their place, I'll be a happy camper with a 9-2 record. In regards to the Lions game, I think we'll see a low scoring affair, both defenses are on top of their game this year. However, I think we'll pull through because we have a very good secondary.

49ers kind of have to, you know, get there first before being a tough out. Trailing Dallas, Green Bay, Seattle for the Wildcard, absolutely no guarantee they even make it. Considering they needed a 4th and 10 miracle to save their season, and they have two Seattle games, another date with Arizona and San Diego still to come, could easily be an 8-8 season.

Depends on what type of QB's the Cards have to go thru. Do they want a track meet with a team like Green Bay or New Orleans? Even in Dallas they got Brandon Wheeden instead of Romo.

Guys like Stafford and Wilson can be good QB's, but getting by an elite level QB is never an easy task.

man, my dolphins crapped the bed yet again. I just don't understand why phiblin feels the need to call a timeout and stop the clock for the opposition running their 1 or 2 minute drill in an attempt to get a game winning TD.

it's so sad and frustrating being a dolphin fan, argh.

also, has every single evening primetime game this year (thurs/sun/mon night game) flat out sucked? I feel like almost every one has been a blow out.
