I will eat a bag of pubes if the Jays are .5 back after the series with Baltimore...in their position you can't be losing 3 of 4 against a terrible team. They just aren't good enough, they had an amazing may but without that streak they have a BAD record
hope I'm wrong (except the pubes part) but I dont think they have the horses even when healthy

Though i guess since the Os won tonight the best they can do is 1 back now he's safe.

My guess is either Kawasaki or Goins head to Buffalo.

Well, as mentioned previously, no way for them to end up 0.5 games back now, but the point remains: they could be right neck-and-neck with the O's within 3 days. Of course, they could also be 7 games back after 3 days, but who knows! At any rate, they are in a playoff position at the moment and will be playing meaningful games for the next while, at least. That's exciting! I haven't enjoyed this much Blue Jays baseball that actually mattered for a very long time. Enjoying the ride.

I can't really see it being Gose, that would leave them with only four outfielders. I expect that it's going to be Goins or Kawasaki, and with the way Goins has been hitting lately, it'll probably be Kawasaki. Either way, it's good to have Lawrie back.

Was not sure the situation with Reyes shoulder. Goins is the backup in terms of the short stop position.

True. Either way, everyone was wrong!
Tollesen was sent to the paternity list to make room for Lawrie. He can be there for 3 days at most.

Was reading the tsn.ca article and was disappointed to read that Edwin is apparently still not close to returning. Not sure how long that means but we need him back soon.

Season is going to slip away a solo shot at a time.

Bases loaded, none out in the 7th and the Jays bring one run home. Ouch.
