I hate how Hutchison pitches. As an umpire, it rattles me how close he is to balking most of the time with runners on base. Good for the guy last night calling it on him, at least once. I would have called about a dozen.
I don't see much in the guy as a pitcher overall either. Stroman is much more impressive. I know Stroman's getting better results, but that's my two cents.

Remember back when the Phillies were first trying to get Roy Halladay and J.A.Haap was rumored to be one of the guys Toronto wanted. Some new up and coming pitcher doing decent in the majors.
That's what I more or less think Hutchison is. I wouldn't hesitate to move him if it meant getting a right now upgrade. Stroman or Sanchez, that's a different story.

Comedy of errors leads to the Astros taking a 3-2 lead in the 5th. Dickey tries to pick off Altuve at first, throws it away, Valencia picks it up and tries to get Altuve at 3rd, it's bobbled and Altuve makes it home easily. Kind of sad to watch.
Dickey had a rough first inning, has pitched well since then until now........a HR has now made it 4-2 Astros.

Well, it was close until the 8th. This inning has been a bit of a gong show, now they even let in an inside the park HR. Ugly.

This was exactly what everyone said they needed to avoid doing in Houston

At this point does Dickey even instill any more confidence pitching than Hutchinson? The guy gets absolutely pounded every game except maybe his last outing. If AA was smart, he would have upgraded the team by trading him at the deadline and letting all the minor league players draw straws for his rotation spot

This is probably the beginning of the end for the Jays. Heading to Baltimore and then to Detroit. Yikes.

What a downer. Not only were they losing games to the Astros, some of them weren't even really close. Disappointing.

The offence struggled the past few games. Had chances early to do something, but failed to cash in. 49 games left and 57% of them are at home. If they can hang in there over these next 14 it should be a September worth watching.

Thank goodness EE, Lind, and Lawrie all come back this month. I really think that we can really fight for the division title when 1/3 of your batting lineup comes back.

The Jays are in a playoff spot right now, and could theoretically be 0.5 games out of the division lead by the end of this series with Baltimore. There's almost 50 games left in the season. I certainly understand the disappointment that was this series against Houston, heck, I share in that disappointment, but the season is far from over.

Jays are only in it cause of that ridiculous May but that advantage is slowly running out. I think they're done.

They were also a part of that 9 game winning streak that we unexpectedly went on. Anything can happen.
