It's not your lack of love that's the issue, it's your complete refusal to give even a shred of credit to Liverpool for all they've achieved this season.

This has to be it for Moyes. I'll be pissed if he's still in charge tomorrow ... enough is enough.

I think hes back next year
they according to the Guardian all ready have 2 players almost signed for next year, they wouldn't have Moyes be leading that charge if he wasn't back

I dunno, it's all about cutting losses no matter how much the severance package costs. He can leave in his legacy that apparently this is the first year ever that Merseyside has done the double over Utd.
When I think about who he took from Everton and how much he paid compared to who he left behind I have to question his ability to guage talent as well as his tactical incompetence.
As much as I would like to, I can't argue against Liverpool's success. Brenton has got them playing amazing fast flowing entertaining football, not to mention the self belief they have. I'm just glad that I can see past the number of penalties they had and realize with objective thinking that it is NOT a .... conspiracy!
And out of curiosity, Moon's banishment wasn't for comments here?

I believe Moons' comments were related to the black hockey player thread. (racism?)

Hmm! I never would have thought that he would say something like-....oh wait, that doesn't surprise me at all. Never mind.

Doesnt look that way.

Newspapers including the Daily Telegraph, the Daily Mail and The Guardian all reported on Monday that the former Everton boss is set to lose his job after the 2-0 defeat at Goodison Park on Sunday.
United did not deny the reports when contacted by ESPN FC, and senior officials at the club later said privately that the sacking is “imminent.”
The Telegraph, which broke the news of Ferguson’s retirement last season, reported on Monday: “The 50-year-old’s reign could end before Saturday’s Old Trafford encounter with Norwich City if he chooses to seek assurances over his future, which executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is unlikely to be able to offer.”
The Guardian, meanwhile, said high-level discussions had taken place as to whether Moyes was the right man to spend the 150 million pounds that is available to be invested into the squad this summer.

I trust few English reporters, but all the ones I actually do trust are reporting the same. This is actually happening.

Very obvious what game is being played here by Man Utd. They want Moyes to resign, for $ reasons. Shabby way to do it, imo.

looks like LVG is favorite
I am surprised they dropped Moyes after 1 season without letting him improve a team that so many people saw weaknesses in but I guess it just shows that United are no different than any of the other big clubs in England (sans Arsenal) when it comes to dealing with non SAF managers

Henry Winter says Giggs is their long term choice which makes sense to bring in LVG for 2-5 years and not someone younger

actually it's not surprising. They would have given him more time if there were some glimpses of hope, but in reality United were bossed by every team above them in the standings except for Arsenal. Really all you need to know:
James Ducker @DuckerTheTimes
So you can now make that 10 pts from 45 for #mufc v present PL top 9 this season. Only 11 gls scored those 15 games. The Moyes effect?
That stat speaks volumes. Every fan was prepared for a couple seasons without titles, but missing international football completely and getting humiliated in nearly every "big" game is simply unacceptable. Add to that that he
1.) had the audacity to blame Ferguson for the squad he inherited. I always hear that Moyes inherited an ageing squad ... I don't see it. Giggs and Ferdinand are the only two really old ones and they barely played anyway. They have a combined 15 PL starts this season. Who else is there? Carrick, Vidic and Evra are 32, but that's hardly a problem if managed carefully. Every successful team has a bunch of 30+ year old veterans. Ferguson bought a plethora of young guys over the last few years, it's hardly his fault that Moyes apparently can't use them appropriately (Kagawa, Hernandez, Welbeck etc).
2.) royally ####ed up last summer in terms of transfers. You don't like the squad you're inheriting? Do something about it. He had the whole summer to fix the problems that everybody could see from a million miles. Buying Fellaini on deadline day for outrageous money was not sufficient and everybody knew it.
3.) managed to piss off a lot of players who could now be leaving. Vidic is already gone, Welbeck and Hernandez are set to leave now too and who knows what goes on behind closed doors anyways. Giggs apparently fell out with him a long time ago.
4.) obviously suffers from delusion. I understand you have to be diplomatic when you face reporters after a game, but saying your team played very well when they actually were bullied for 90 minutes is total BS if you ask me.
All Moyes is doing is deflect and point to the big shopping spree in the summer, while it's so obvious that he failed every single target this season and lost the room (apparently). Can't trust a guy like that with a major overhaul. The job was simply to big for him.
Van Gaal as a short term solution (2-3 years) makes sense to me.

Moyes basically blamed Fergie for leaving him an ageing squad, while also taking credit for what's happening at Everton at the moment. If he knew United were a sinking ship, and all his work at Everton was about to pay off, why the hell did he switch jobs?
Nice try Moyes, you were handed a squad that strolled to a league title and you failed miserably. 6 more years please.

Not a chance in hell that happens.
But yeah, this season was a disaster with no real signs of anything positive to point to.
It would be kind of funny if the loss to Everton was the last straw.

Here's a funny question.
Where does Moyes go from here?
a.) Isolated South Pacific island
b.) Pundit for the Sun
c.) League 2
d.) Replaces Roy this fall

I wish Scholes was more qualified, as I'd prefer him over Giggs.
I say that, as the adultery with his brother's wife, will forever leave a poor taste in my mouth.

Ryan Giggs says the crisis that has engulfed Liverpool could not happen at Manchester United because of the successful foundations laid by Sir Alex Ferguson.
...
And ahead of the showdown between English football's fiercest rivals, Giggs hailed Fergie's long-term vision, which he believes will sustain United's success long after the 69-year-old Scot eventually steps down.
"Our manager is not always looking just for this season," said Giggs. "He buys players with a view to the future, which he's done more and more over the last few years.
