He made like 2 good saves and the Knights hit the post and missed a wide open net. Pickard was not playing all world either that is laughable he has an .888

we can count cups after the season, I'm gonna go with ZERO. Oilers won 1-0 against Vegas missing their best player who haven't looked great all playoffs, crown them if you like but they haven't played a team like the Avs, Jets, Stars, Panthers, Canes, ect.

That supposed depth has yet to be tested by a decent playoff team. Both LA and Vegas looked awful defensively. Guys like Doughty and Hanifin were terrible.

And their goaltending sucked.

I would rather win? It's not my money

Even worse, if the Oilers make the final, they’ll have home ice over either the Panthers or Canes ( assuming they take care of business )

I hope Florida can beat them. But the Oilers may have more motivation and that could be the difference sadly.

An Edmonton cup win feels like a very very strong possibility now. In a vacuum, after a Decade of McDavid and Draisaitl it's probably overdue and I'd may even be ambivalent about it.

But any organization that employs Bowman, Kane, and Perry after the #### they've done...they deserve nothing.

At this point my hatred is less about the rivalry and more about the morally bankrupt "leadership" that heads that organization.

If the flames had done the same, id frankly feel the same way and would not be able to celebrate them either.

And potentially getting better. Finishing up the Vegas in 5 saves a lot of wear and tear. Nothing crazy in terms of OT games. Some additional rest is coming and potentially their best D man coming in a week, 10 days?

I feel better about these Stars than last year's.

If it goes the distance, we can also put some faith in DeBoer's flawless game 7 record.

It's easy to not score when you pass up golden opportunities to get shots on net trying to make the perfect play. Teams need ot start throwing everything at the net.

Deboer has made 7 or 8 western finals in a row. He is good man. Can he take it to next level?

I feel hintz rantanen and Robertson is top line in league right now

For the record, the Panthers are owned by Vincent Viola. That’s who the players always talk about when they sign their contracts etc. “Thanks to Mr. Viola… etc etc…”

The clown on Twitter is a minority partner of the Panthers and CEO of the fincom that Viola founded. I’d never even heard of him before last night.

And both Kuemper and Hill let in too many weak goals. Game 2 maybe doesn't even go into OT if Hill is better.

Snap out of it you defeatist quitters!

There's still plenty of time for the Oilers to choke it out..

Florida is one of the few teams that straddles the line and tries to cheat as much as the Oilers. And they'll have the confidence of having bested them already.

They just need to rough up one of their precious babies and the Oilers will unravel mentally, as the Panthers just did to the Leafs.

Oilers missing their best D man all series and bouncing around goalies goes unmentioned.

Let's be honest, Vegas did not challenge them very much.

It's not like they had to be anywhere near spectacular. Both still rocking save percentages in the .800s.

I’ll just avoid Canadian sports media for a couple of days. I’d bet the farm one oiler-centric SN fanboy media story will be the ‘redemption of Skinner’. Yes, please, hype him up, make him your #1 guy again for the next round. Sieve skinner will show up again and the oilers brass and media will try to run him out of town again.
Whomever plays them next better figure out how that team of pylons and AHL defensemen shut the knights offense down.
