Do stoves still have fuses?
We heard a pop midway through cooking and now the oven doesnt work. The stove is 6-7 years old.

There are just so many different brands and kinds of litter with so many advantages and disadvantages and speculation and all I want is to stop coughing.

Have you tried the stuff made from recycled newspaper? They make it into little pellets, instead of gravel type stuff. I could be wrong, but I'd think it would have significantly less dust.

Only downside is its pricier. Though in IMO, its worth the cost. No more dust in the room you keep the litter box and your cat won't be dusty either. The pine even smells nice.

Feline Pine is 100% natural and safe for cats and kittens of all ages. This environmentally-friendly and dust-free litter provides outstanding odor control.
Feline Pine®, The Healthy Cat Litter™ is the number one natural alternative to clay cat litter. Pelleted litter is made from compressed natural pine wood--no new trees were cut to make Feline Pine®. Litter is a feline favorite and has no odor, no dust and no tracking Unlike other cat litters, there are no chemical additives needed to control odor as pine naturally bonds with ammonia, and there is never any sticky, smelly mess to deal with when the box needs to be changed. Safe for cats, humans and the environment, you'll love the way Feline Pine® controls odor with its fresh pine scent. Instant absorption and concentrated formula means you'll use less litter and perform fewer litter changes. You'll know it's time to change the litter box when all the pellets dissolve, usually in about two weeks for a single cat.
no harsh artificial fragrances
no dangerous silica dust
no unnatural chemical additives
virtually dust-free pellets
Feline Pine® is the only litter used by the historic Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum in Key West, Florida, where more than 60 cats have complete run of the house and grounds.
Vendor provides a money-back guarantee.
Available in a 20 pound bag.

How hard is the replacement?

It should be very easy. Any fuses I've replaced, just find the door and inside just pop out the fuse and the new one goes in. It's simple. I'm not sure if different appliances have different designs.

I saw Moneyguy's response, but I think you are talking about the element, not the fuse.
The element is almost as easy as the fuse is though. It's size will depend on your make/model of stove, I would recommend taking the old one out (it should just unplug and rotate out) and take a look at it to make sure it is broken. It will have an obvious crack through it if it is broken.
Then head to Trail Appliances or some other appliance store) and see if they can get you a replacement.

I'm just shopping around for some new tires. I have heard good things about Costco.
Does anybody know what they charge on top of the price of the tires? Is the price of the tires all in, or are there charges for balancing, alignment, disposal, etc etc

Not hard at all, providing that is what it is. Make sure you unplug the stove first, then remove the back. There should be 4 bolts or something that hold it to the back of the oven.
It would help if you had a multi meter and could check the continuity of the connection to ground, and know if thats what it is.
In my case, you could see the element broken in half and where the broken half dropped and shorted out on the bottom of the oven.

I got fed up with Costco tires because they don't answer the phone when you call. I went in at night and they didn't have my tire so they said to call back in the morning and they would find out how long it would take to come in. Also, they work on a first come first served basis so people just show up really early and wait. If you show up later that just want you to wait and not leave your keys.

I found Costco to be expensive. I saved quite a bit of money ordering the tires from Tiretrends.com and having them installed here.

Their prices are cheap... or at least they were for mine. Saved $500 over everywhere else I called in the city.

This. When I was looking at new winter tires this time last year Costco said I'd need to come at 6 am and get a number, wait until 8am and they'd tell me if I'd be able to get them that day. I ended up negotiating the same price on the same tires at Canadian Tire, which was about $400 off what they originally quoted me.
I also love how Costco told me they'd put them on/take them off for free in future years. Except of course, they're too busy during the fall to actually do that, which really pissed me off on my last set from them. "We'll do it for free anytime except when you need it done"
Also, last year they told me they no longer sell rims, so if you wanted new rims as well you needed to get them elsewhere and bring them in.

I've had mine sitting in the back of my truck for over a week now. Didn't get them installed the day I paid for them, but I had to take them home... luckily I have 3 days a week off, so I'll have to drag myself in there mid-week and get them installed.
Just waiting for the forecast to predict a full week of daytime highs below 10 degrees. Sticking my finger in the thread of Blizzaks feels like I'm pushing into dough (or a fat chick). I feel like they'll melt in the temps we've had the past few days.

I've got a very stubborn plantar wart on the bottom of my foot, it has resisted years of nitrogen and lasering, topical acid treatments, multiple anti-viral medicines, etc. I'd like to try another doctor to see if their approach can do it. Does anyone know a good dermatologist (or specialist) in town that can help me take care of this?
