I think once the draft has ended i have no problem for some switcheroos, but not while its still going
I was thinking about this last night. What if rather than an extra wildcard (or in addition to), at the end, we do a round, in the same order, or drops and pickups.
Much like the waiver draft in the NHL. If you don't want anyone, you don't need to make a change, but it would be in the same order as the draft.
Ex-
1. pass
2. pass
3. drops Movie A and picks up Movie B
4. pass
etc...
Would the 'league' consider this idea? This way, it's still in the draft order we've determined, and no random pickups or drops are done.
The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
That's great that we're adding more rounds, although I'm going to have to completely re-evaluate my strategy for the rest of the draft. But definitely a better option than allowing drops.
OK! 2 extra wildcard rounds added to make the total an even 20 round.
Windom, please expand the draft board
No!! Make me!
Just to state my opinion, I'm with octothorp regarding having to rethink my strategy for the rest of the draft. I'm not crazy about changing rules in the middle of the game, but I'll live with whatever the majority decides. But ABSOLUTELY NO DROPS; you pick a movie, you live with it or trade it if you can find any takers. I'm glad you didn't go there.
BTW, Itse's time is up as of 11:24. Jerzee is up

That's What She Said is proud to select (and astonished it's still available at this round) in the Sci-Fi category, Independence Day.
Arguably, the movie that launched Will Smith into super-stardom and made him choice blockbuster material, this 1996 film featured the erstwhile Fresh Prince of Bel Air teaching some nasty aliens that it wasn't a good idea to interrupt his July 4 long weekend.
This movie is an enjoyable romp through out with varying storylines that include the hilarious Randy Quaid, the serious Bill Paxton & the quirky Jeff Goldblum to mention just a few.
Aren't most action movies at the heart of things guilty pleasures? I know that the ones I enjoy most tend to be (yes I will even own up to loving Judge Dredd....)
This wasn't my 1st choice for Sci-Fi but there were too many out there who beat me to the bunch on at least 8 or 9 others so ID seemed like a good pick as we near the end of the draft....at least it's not one that I feel weakens my roster.
And GirlySports, if you do run a TV draft - I'm sooooo in! That one would be even more cut-throat than the movie one has been when it came to some categories/picks!
I like the scene where the alien uses the scientist to speak to the president. That was creepy, I gotta say.
Will Smith, good in that movie, definitely.
"You're not as charming as you think you are"
"Yes, I am"
Simply, hot.
My sister and I used to always jump when the scientist is first thrown up against the glass. We would rewind it like three times and we would jump every time.

Brent Spiner (played Data on STNG) was perfect casting in that role too - that was one of the best parts of the movie...specially cuz everytime we would watch it with a newbie we always told them to watch the glass so they didn't miss something....
