Do you really believe every person who expresses concern over children and this topic is only doing so as a cover because they hate all transgender people? That just seems like a massive leap to me. We all know children have extremely poor decision making skills which is why we protect them in many ways. We know that children don't know who they are and part of growing up is finding yourself. The person you were at 12 is likely vastly different from the person you are today. So to not see any validity in the protection of children seems like you're purposefully being a bit blind to the big picture.
The overwhelming majority of them, yes.
A grade school level of education assuages virtually every panic you could possibly have.
Take puberty blockers. Limiting access to them until a person is 16, when puberty has already run its course, is objectively stupid and steeped in nothing but bigoted hogwash.

Where have I ever said anything differently? I could care less what an adult wants to do. When it comes to children yes I think that is a different situation that might require more nuance and discussion. But ultimately at the end of the day if you want to put your child on hormone blockers I'm not going to be protesting in the streets.
I would consider this child abuse and believe this topic should be age restricted until 18. Just like the XXX section, alcohol, cigarettes and other useless contributions to society.

The point of standing up to bigots is to let the people that they are targeting see that they are not alone. When hate is met with silence it makes the targets of the hate feel like those opinions are accepted by everyone.
I have personally heard from people targeted by these monsters that seeing that there are people on their side has been the difference that saved them from suicide. Using your voice to disagree with hate makes a big difference.
As for the person spewing the hate, I have no idea what their angle is. Being that it has all just been the same tired old cut and paste bigot talking points, I have my doubts they know either. That they cannot seem to cope with how people are seeing right through their transparent "think of the children, just asking questions" routine, also supports my theory that they are mindlessly repeating propaganda.
