A Gyrados showed up again late last night. I think that's 3 friday's in a row that its showed up late at night by the Bow river downtown.

Yesterday was definitely really good for "rares", more so during the day though.

Looks like yesterday, collectively, people figured out that as groups you can bring down any gym.
I know it wasn't this way from the start, but it has been for some time that your attack, as the same colour, is combined. Nothing will ever stand now.
Went from 10 long term gyms to 2 yesterday.
It was nice while it lasted.

Can anyone confirm that North Glenmore park still spawns Growlithes? The tracker isn't finding very many (although may be missing them).

I also know U of C spawns a fair number, anyone have success anywhere else?

Well I just pulled it up and saw an aerodactyl and debated going to get it (it was a few minute drive away). Ended up saying meh - they aren't on the list of best attackers/defenders.

But 1 minute later a snorlax came up and I gunned it to get him (was a 6-8 minute drive on a 13 minute timer and I had to search for him a bit). This definitely wasn't the way Niantic intended the game but hey it was pretty fun to go for a spontaneous hunt.

Edit: it was on Aspen Hills Drive and 17th Ave. I've never seen anything rare up here so this is nice! All there is is eevees, anything rare I've had to go to Eau Claire for.

What tracker do you use? I don't rely on them very much unless there is something I don't have yet around but the ones that I have tried lately are terrible.

so people still use trackers, but I'm banned for running Cyanogenmod on my phone. #### Niantic, seriously.

You should try emailing them and ask them why you got banned for no reason. Through, it probably won't do you any good to get it back because Niantic will probably just send you a generic email saying you got banned instead of actually telling you why or how you got banned.

I've noticed the rare spawn around here increasing as well. Just today I caught a Kabuto on my daily walk.

I've also noticed lately gyms giving back and "Error" message. Usually after I've beaten the first round. I go back for Round 2 (to further reduce the rep of the gym), it lets me pick my 6 fighters, then after I engage, I get a red bar across the top and the "Error" message. I get punted out of the gym, no fight, no nothing.

oh I know why I got banned. In their latest update, they've banned all players with a rooted Android phone or jailbroken iPhone.

Initially dummy accounts (only used in the trackers) were banned regularly, but it seems that is not happening now. I expect the code writers are getting better at hiding.
And as far as bots go, my test bot account finally landed Farfetch'd in Tokyo, to complete capture of the 4 regional Pokémon. Bot has been in 9 countries across 4 continents over 14 days, is level 26 and has 105 in Pokedex without a single evolve. He walks about 20-30km per day while playing.

And you can't use Cyanogenmod...

It's not great as far as picking everything up. Still very helpful though.

If I'm sitting at home browsing or watching a show I'll spam it every ~60 seconds in a few different spots near my house. Did this for a few hours in the past few days and nabbed 2x dragonites, 1x snorlax, and could have had a vaporeon, blastoise, and another snorlax if I didn't decide to opt out.

I havent even gotten a response after a week. I've done nothing to cheat the game. I dont think I am banned, just the phones OS is. I also am on a oneplus one.

I've been using the Pokemon go plus watch since it came out and it has actually improved the game for me. alot of my time includes driving and since I got the watch I can actually play because you can shut your phone off and it communicates with the watchthroigh blue tooth. The pedometer seems very accurate only complaint I have is that the flee rate is quite high as you can only throw 1 poke ball per button press other than that im a big fan especially if you drive alot. It makes catching pidgeys and all the other crap alot easier and you pretty much just farm stardust and get xp

I'm still playing the game thus far and I also have the Oneplus. Through, I hate to say it but my current account is my 2nd one as my original one got banned for Spoofing. Haha.

I got banned 3 weeks ago and I'm back at lvl 21 and I started spoofing at this level with my orginal account. I was 8 shy and had all 4 regional rares from having all 150 pokemon.

Just hatched a Chansey, 10k egg. Only 368 CP but 307HP, thing is a god damn wall.

Up to 92 Pokemon found. Graveler, Ponyta, Doduo, Scyther, and Magmar all found or hatched in recent days.
