I should add. While Arsenal need a good striker, which RVP fits the role of. They'd have to want him. Too much damage done?

I'd say RVP to Spurs would make a lot of sense but United would likely have to eat some of his wages like City has with Adebayor and I can't see RVP not wanting CL ball next year. I think Chelsea or Real Madrid are probably the likely landing spots.

Could also see Hernandez ending up at Spurs or Everton depending on who loses out on Lukaku. I know Levy had been previously rumoured to be interested in him.

Yup.

I'd love to nab Hernandez but I think we need someone a bit more dynamic (e.g. more like RvP).

As an Arsenal fan, I would say RvP burned the bridge and poisoned the water in relation to a return to the club.

Hang tight, Mario Mandzukic may become available.

I think Chelsea would be the most likely destination for him. Mandzukic and Diego Costa would be a rather deadly combo for them up front.

I dont think Diego Costa is leaving Spain. Remember early last summer there were rumours that Rodgers was close to bringing him in but he chose to stay at Atletico? Now having renounced Brazil for Spain I think he stays there.

Jose has his eye on Cavani.

That could very well be the case, but Chelsea will add some zeros to his paycheck. I imagine he will be tempted, who knows if he'll actually go though.

Cavani is a good shout too. Apparently he's not happy playing out wide.

Precisely, but I dont know if world class strikers are going to be lining up to play for Mourinho after this season. He kind of throws his strikers under the bus.

he chose to stay this year for CL football and until he had played a Spain game the Guardian Spanish writer said

most people expect him to go in the summer to Chelsea

Atleti need the money

That's just ugly. Especially after Newcastle looked so strong at the start of the season.

I got coffee all over my right forearm due to celebrations following Skrtel's goal. I'm not even mad (and it wasn't hot enough to burn). That was SO emotionally draining, I'm still shaking a little! As we were before the game, we are still 100% in the drivers seat. It's felt realistic for a while, but now I can almost taste it! You're in Red Deer, right? You should come down for a match if it's for the league!

I'm in Calgary actually. I'd be up for watching the game somewhere as long as I can get out of work. I tend to work a lot of weekends unfortunately.

10 wins in a row for Liverpool right now, 4 to go. It'll be tough without Henderson the next 3 games, but hopefully Allen or Lucas can step in and do a job.

Still neck and neck with Chelsea, but that was one hell of a game.

Sunderland!! Would have been better if they had taken all 3, but I'll take a draw against City!
