Without Lynch and his big plays, Seattle likely loses this game against the useless Raiders. Wilson has to play better, much better, or else. Bad throws, high throws, low throws, lucky not to be picked off twice. Only, once again, when he took off with his legs in the second half, did the offense (besides Lynch) do anything.
Still going to come down to the 6 games Seattle and SF plays against each other and ARI.

Harbaugh leaving Santa Clara looks very likely at this point. Question is does he go to Michigan or stay in the NFL?

Especially since the Broncos just ran the clock once they got the ball back

I wonder if San Francisco would like Alex Smith back.

Its always been this way, the NFL falls in love with the size, strong arm etc..... Kaepernick has cost them so many games with his turnovers and bad decisions... i have no doubt they are a better team with Alex Smith right now...

Ben is on fire right now. Two big plays in a row as Jones answers the Brown touchdown.

So last week ended with 11 AFC teams over the .500 mark with 4 wins or more. Today, it's still 11 teams over the .500 mark with at least 5 wins apiece. So it's still pretty tight.
This coming week has some games which may help sort out the Wild Card picture as KC goes to Buffalo. Should KC win that game it would give them a big edge in the Wild Card picture as they would than have head to head wins against Miami and Buffalo who will likely be in the mix for that final Wild Card spot. Conversely a win by the Bills at home flips the table and has them at 6-3 with wins over Miami and KC. Down the stretch, I think the Bills schedule is easier than KC too. I see KC needing to win this game to finish the season 10-6....Buffalo might be in the same boat, although even with a win...KC could still easily end up 9-7, whereas I think Buffalo would be 10-6 at the worst with a win here.
Miami, go to Detroit, and so far the AFC East's top 3 teams are doing quite well against the NFC North as Miami is the only loss on that last second TD by Rogers. Miami put themselves in a better position by beating down the Chargers. The Dolphins remaining schedule is quite favorable as they should finish 5-3. But to get to the playoffs they might need 6-2 to stay clear of tie breakers that could hurt them.
The AFC North has that bonus year where they get the AFC South, and NFC South which provides all teams a good chance to rack up their win totals. The Steelers have been hot and have a pretty favorable schedule left. Two Division games with the Bengals, but no Bronco's or Patriots, and they get KC and New Orleans at home. The Bengals looked great....than looked bad, and have been better the past couple weeks. I still think they have a more difficult remaining schedule than Pittsburgh. Baltimore is at 5-4, but they have a pretty easy remaining schedule as they've finished up with Pittsburgh and Cinci. Cleveland also somehow still have a pretty manageable schedule. They too could get to 10-6 if they beat the right teams. Their issue will be that they end up in a tie breaker scenario which could be tough for them to win since they've had a cup cake schedule.
The Chargers, face the task in needing to go 5-2 in their final 7 to get to 10 wins, and have a pretty hard schedule left. Denver, New England, @ Baltimore, @ SF, @ KC. Their 5 game stretch to finish is tough. If they lose one of their next 2, season over.
