I mean, maybe I'm just excited because baseball means summer is coming, and I certainly don't expect improvement, but not an increase of more than 10 losses or anything. Am I nuts?

Don't count on Mcgowan being back. I'm betting Litsch is back way before Mcgowan.

Forgot about Romero - He is likely to win 10, but not a lock by any stretch.
2nd year pitchers shouldn't fill anyone with a lot of confidence.

Before this season starts, I'm predicting an 81 win season. Halladay would be a loss to any team, let alone the Jays, but I do believe that even though they don't have that top level pitching ace anymore, their relief depth will hold them to some pretty close games. Like almost any young team I do believe they'll show some solid promise early with their young aggression, but think their lack of offensive talent (especially in the infield) will be exploited quickly and burn in August. The Jays do have a lot of depth with their pitching and that should go a long way (and it's what I'm counting on with my prediction). Their division is ridiculous though.

You have to be a really, really bad ball club to lose 100 games. To me the big question mark is that pitching staff, especially the starting rotation. But it's not too often that a team who were thought to be that bad actually are. Usually something has to go terribly wrong in season for that to happen. But I do think the Jays are in tough to win more than 70 games. I can see them between 90 and 99 losses but I don't know if they'll go over 100.

Jays have a good pitching staff and good relief pitchers I would think they will win around 75 games.

Man, so excited for today's game! Let's see what this group can do. Is an 11:30 game too early for a beer or two? Nah ...

Can't wait for the season to kick off and watch all of the young talent. I think they will win 70-80 games depending on how healthy the pitching staff stays.

While my expectations are still very low, my level of excitement is much higher then it's been in years. I do think we'll have a team this year that Jays fans be proud of.
