It seemed like I was watching a bad war movie on mute with Metallica playing in the background. James making love to the camera was a little weird too...
Videos don't meant anything though, it's about the music and I do like the song.
Not surprisingly the album has been leaked. Just listened to The Unforgiven 3. Not a bad song if your not one that needs fast thrash all the time but it doesn't really have that Unforgiven vibe to it. Atleast the second song had a connection with the first at certain parts. I would have gave it a different title. I also listened to All Nightmare Long but I think I'm done. Don't want to completely spoil it before the release especially when I'm getting the Digital Download as well at midnight on the 12th.
I'm liking Cyanide a lot more with each listen, much like the other songs already. I am going to hold off on downloading the leaked album. I can wait for the next song, and then the album...at least I think I can.
Yeah, now that I've listened to it a bit more, you're right. It's got the speed, but it doesn't have the pounding, in your face feel.
Personally, I think it's James' vocals. Man, how I wish he'd stop trying to sing and just go back to screaming.
It sounds almost like a sped-up Black album.
(having said that, though, I'll still take it for its speed and riffs)
Edit: So far... Judas Kiss, Suicide & Redemption and My Apocalypse are my favourites.
Edit again: It's all very high pitched. From James' vocals all the way through to the guitars and drums. Can barely hear any rumbling bass. Definitely something missing. I can't really put my finger on it. I mean, it sounds kickass - but it's not quite the same.
Edit again again: You know, it just hit me... maybe all this time... the real thing that's been wrong is no Cliff. I mean, Justice was awesome on it's own, but it's my least favourite of the original four albums. Maybe it's just always been about Cliff...
