Based on the Flames drafting prowess, I don't think it will take long.
Hell, their starting goalie was drafted in the 7th round...I forget now, but like 3rd from last in the entire draft?

I think if we can get Brz and Parekh into the lineup it would take some of the pressure off of Weegar to be 'all things to all situations' and allow him to play his game without having to be 'The Main Man' for all things.
Weegar's biggest faults this season seem to be directly related to him trying to do everything. Take some pressure off him and I think we see Vintage Weegar again.

I get the impression that the understanding between the team and Backlund is he is here until his contract runs out. Of all of the Vets, I dont see him being traded unless he has a change of heart and wants a run at the Cup.
