As much hype as Demidov received, he really doesn't do smart plays. A lot of throwing it out there without anyone there.

What a dumb play by Strome. He may have just ended Logan Thompson's playoffs, and possibly his career. That knee buckled underneath him in a really bad way with speed and weight on top of him.

Meh, it's a contact sport. The guy isn't dying, I like the mean jeering.

A goaltender being booed because his knee got blown out by his own player is stupid. Like this post.

Again, within the context of fans wanting to make it a tough place to play, and being absorbed in the moment, who cares? There was a bench fight earlier. Guys cheer when there's a fight and a guy gets beaten or bleeds. It's a contact sport and these things happen. Booing just brings on a crazy atmosphere and it's part of the sport and being a fan. They're not cheering because he got hurt. They're cheering because he's an opposing player who had something happen in a heated game. Meh.

That's why you try to make the playoffs no matter what position you're in. The roar of the crowd. The comradery of the room. The memories.
