I would kill a small animal if it meant I got Shorty and someone else on PBP. He's far less biased (despite being the regional guy for Vancouver) and a far better PBP guy than any other option.

How is skinner with skating to grab the puck on dump and chase attempts? Saros’ skating ability hindered the Canucks forecheck in their series with the Preds. On the other side Desmith and Silvos weren’t as good which led to a lot of hits on Hughes.

Want the Nucks to take the Oil out, but I sadly think Edmonton gets to the conference finals

Especially when if the team playing the Oilers results in a better draft pick for the Flames.

From in all likelihood 27th or 28th. I will take an Oiler loss and the 3rd thanks.

Feels like the Oilers will have a field day with this unless the Canucks’ offense decides to wake up and EP40 actually remembers how to play elite hockey. Also need to stay out of the box.

I say this goes 7 and the nucks WIN.
This will be a defining moment for the Oil ....can McDav and Dryhump hero their way to legend status ....the Oilers media overexaggerating things as per normal make it sound like they'll make easy work of the Canucks.
I always wonder if our media ever sounds this delusional....i hope not.

I doubt it will be as tight as the Nashville series. I’d wager Vancouver will find some offense this series.

The Oilers are gigantic betting favorites to win.
That is very disrespectful to the Canucks. I think the Canucks are the better team 5v5 but obviously the Oilers have the best pp again because of their top 2 players.

So 70+% in favour of the Oilers. That is an absurdly high chance for a 2nd round series. It's actually high enough that there's value in betting on Vancouver, at least a little bit.

The Canucks’ best player in the last series was a third string goaltender with a barely adequate moustache and debatable fashion sense.
By contrast, the Oilers have McJesus.
Canucks in four.

Lindholm is playing well.
OT winner, hitting hard, air-tight defensively and PK.
Looks exactly like what you expect Elias Lindholm to look like.
I think playing 3rd line is a good place for him.

Every game goes to double OT, Canucks win in 7. McHobo and Pissy cry exorbitant amount of tears. The Canucks get dismantled in the next round. Everything is right in the universe again.
