I hate the oilers to my very core but they are like 21-4 in their last 25 games or something like that. I just hope somebody can stop them in playoffs again.

first of all I am talking about their media mocking the Flames...those in glass houses

their team is STILL pathetic considering what they have been gifted and the window is almost closed (as if it were ever open)

and don't worry about playoffs, deep teams with D and goaltending win in the playoffs.

They still haven't won a single game after round 2 in this era.

In fact, I was way more scared last year when they got hot at the right time down the stretch. This gives them plenty of time to cool off before the playoffs.

Whatevs. This is pro sports. All teams lose - that's the point. Calgary ain't that good, this was a trap game if there ever was one, and the season is just a wheel spinner. If your goalie doesn't play well, any team can lose.

You don't think they win again until he comes back? It was a bad loss but Chicago will win games without Bedard

the rest of the plugs are probably not much better if better at all than hungry AHL players from a team that has drafted high for a while

Zary is one of the Flames best players and he was an AHLer and not even a great one not very long ago

Flames have a few guys in their lineup that aren't NHLers on a healthy roster

Unless you believe the Flames are a trap game almost every night for their opponents.

I didn't see it that way, out shot them 31-20. Vladar was bad and Mrazek made some big saves.

I'm not defending the Flames loss at all, but the Oilers wouldn't know the first thing about playing a back-to-back with travel in between games.

Their buttersoft schedule and calls always get evened out by the 2nd round of the playoffs and their record proves it. Their oh so intelligent media are just too stupid to notice.
