1st game I got to see in person this season. Coleman is a wheel this year and had a great game today. Zadorov also another wheel who is playing solid every game. Kadri/Zary/Sarangovich is a lovely line that I hope to see progress.

Team has some ugly bits for sure. Duehr, Backs, and Ruzicka are quiet in a meh way.

Man is Huberdeau turning out to be my least favourite Flame of all time. I'll never cheer against a guy, but wow he's at nearly 100 games as a Flame and has been downright stinky.

The problem is that Huberdeau doesn't need to wake up. He looks like he has a total confidence problem and has lost his game and where he belongs. He said himself in an interview that the play that he sees in his head is not what happens on ice. Where he expects his team mates to be is not where they end up being. The guy just looks dejected and doesn't know what happened to his game or how to fit into this team or play with his team mates anymore.

You can't just wake up from that and go beast mode. You have to reinvent yourself.

Weird schedule. For the fifth time in a row, the Flames are going to have consecutive days off between games.

Pretty sure I’ve now seen 7 different ways of spelling Sharangovich.

What do you mean a wheel? Like a spare tire?

Kadri engaged 'Beast Mode' and...one of my favourite Flames in Coleman was all over the place once again!

Markstrom I thought was quite good once again, the PP still needs to be better, I thought Tanev and Weegar struggled a little at times, Andersson was on top of his game!

Huberdeau though...We'll have to see how that plays out. Something had to happen. He's at nearly 100 games as a Flame and hasn't worked it out? He wears a letter and is a veteran and the highest paid player...he's gotta figure it out and maybe this was the kick in the ass he needs? I have no idea.

He seems like a guy who is a good teammate and is genuinely trying to figure it out but at the end of the day this is the Pros, it is a results driven league.

His passing is piss-poor at best and his shooting is near-as-makes-no-difference non-existant. If you want 1st line minutes you've gotta earn them.

Nice win and guys now are finding each other and passing was better. Huberdeau was the bad link in PP and wasn't helping the team.
I wish Huska play Huberdeau-Backlund- Coleman/Coronato as line and tell him just contribute shut down other top lines and don't worry about points. Then it may improve his confidence and start to find some kind of role and play simple plays.
My stars of the game is Kadri, Hanifin & Sharangovich.

Funny, I thought Andersson was terrible tonight and thought his game has been declining. He's mistimed rushes, his passing has been awful and too often he's unable to trap a puck at the blue line during a PP. Was definitely not impressive to me tonight.

Same here.

On a good note, Tanev is solid as a rock. Can’t say enough about this guy.

A wheel as in something necessary for keeping your car on the road. Fully functional. Important. Wouldn't get rid of it. Couldn't work without it.

Hell even a spare tire gets you from point A to B in a tricky situation.

But Coleman ain't a spare.

I'm fine with that explanation. Its not about effort, he just wasnt feeling it tonight.

Which is great from one perspective, but from another...you're paid to play. You're paid a lot.
