That goal in Buffalo must have felt awesome for Gilbert. I didn't know he practically grew up with DeSimone in the junior Sabres.

Dig him too and hope we sign him to a 2 year deal or so to be our 7 spot guy, can’t deny his toughness and he plays a smart game. Some good lessons learned too in the Leafs game trying to cover Marner which is no easy task.

Evanson gets so angry he looks like he's going to explode or hit someone.

It still pains me that our two best shooters (Toffoli, Lindholm) aren’t on the same PP as Huberdeau.
The coaches are baffling.

Crap. Mangiapane goes the other way and passes to Huberdeau and it’s a tap in. Instead he shoves it into the pile. No Kelly, not a good play.

They have been but Rasmus and Toffoli (with Kadri) kind of excluded Lindholm and Huberdeau.
A guy like Huberdeau needs a lot of touches - he tries stuff that is not going to work a fair bit but will be magic when it does.

Smart play by Pelts not to take a penalty on that backcheck. I’ve seen many a player, hook or slash on a play like that.

It's strange, but it seems as though our PP is getting worse and worse as the season goes on. It pretty much sucks momentum out of our game.
EDIT: great play by Stetcher, too bad he he had to take a penalty right after.
