Agreed. Everyone needs to spend too much time at home mid season that they want to play for each other again. I'm on board with that.

No, they're 3rd in the Central.

I missed the entire game and just watched the highlights. Vladar looked great from what I saw. Was told Lindholm was terrific as well. Placed a wager on Toffoli getting over 2.5 shots, saw that he scored and had 3 SOG. Solid night.

That was a very good performance for large stretches of the game. They kind of sat back in the third, probably because of fatigue given that some of them played the previous night.

I was just a highlight watcher this morning, but from what I saw the top line looked great and Vladar looked good. Toffoli with a solid night. Good Win!

That was Lindholm’s best game. If he plays like that he will be getting double what he’s getting paid next season.

I would say that some of them were at the saddledome the previous night.

No Darryl, it would not have been a 5 on 3 if challenge would have backfired.
PP goal for Kraken, Zad comes out and then it's a 5 on 4 for delay of game.

His agent’d tell Treliving to look at Huberdeau’s contract and start from there

No way. His best comparable for a contract is Zibanejad. I would be comfortable with high 8’s/low 9’s for 7-8 years. His best season was barely a PPG.

Great win by the Flames last night. Huge one for staying in the race.

They were obviously tired at the end and dug down to hang on.

Positive going into the break too. Hopefully Tanev is back when it’s over.

And being better defensively doesn’t add several million to the deal typically… I think you’re right on the mark here.

Big win against a division opponent, 7 pages.
Anytime the team loses = 15+ pages.
There are more negative posters on CP than positive.
Or maybe they are just more vocal.

Whatever the reason is, this team just gets the points with Vladar and can’t with Markstrom

How big of a sample size do we need before we stop bickering about each individual goal and just accept Vladar is the guy right now?

overall, a great win for the team first half of the game they play like that they are a top team.
The penalty trouble changed the game for sure for them need to play 60 minutes which has been their problem most nights.

Flames sent the 3 youngsters back down for all star break. Good move. Keep them in game shape for when break is over. If Tanev is out beyond break , I expect all 3 back up.
