He retired!
Yeah, sure. He spend a lot of his time, either insulting fans, yelling about how great he was, and how every wanted to trade their roster for his. He has to be recognized as one of the worst executives in hockey. At the same time he got jobs for his buddies and firmly rammed his hands up Oiler GM's butts and used them as a sock puppet.
At the end of the day, he did things his way. Like a Vipa.
At the end of the day he was an ok two way defenseman who piggybacked his way into the hall of fame, and was a firm representation of never earned, always given.
Oiler fans should be celebrating his retirement.
