Getting ready to argue that his helmet came undone, and the play should have been blown dead before the goal.
I've never seen a goalie lose his mask more often, and I'm confident it's because it gives him an opportunity to stop the play if he needs to kill the opposition's possession/scoring chance.

It is interesting though because they are built similarly (read: badly). But while the Oilers are getting the special teams success and strong finishing from their offensive guys, the Canucks are getting the elite goaltending. You need both to win if you’re going to suck at even strength and allow scoring chances the way those blue lines do.

Lol, it has nothing to do with the Canucks making the play-offs (They aren't) and everything to do with schadenfreude which is the only joy I have this season. Silly peanut.

Just caught the Oilers highlights, that was glorious.
McDavid is again one dimensional scoring 2 goals but being a -1 and losing the game tying goal faceoff.

One thing I really noticed about McDavid and it was apparent in this game, is that if he isn't moving with the puck, he gets knocked off it pretty easily. He sucks at puck protection.
I know board play isn't exciting, but sometimes it is necessary. It's too below McDavid to even try though.

Same old story, Mavi gives zero f#*ks about anything but offensive points….. all you hear is him being the best player to ever play, he isn’t even the best player playing now. He likely may not even be the best player on his team. Absolute joke how they hype McRainMan….

Yes, when they have to play a cycle game he’s just an ordinary good player. So the key is to stop his initial drive.

The Lightning are playing better tonight,
2-2 in the third period.

Ovechkin scores his 23rd to give the Caps a late lead.
And now his 24th into an empty net.
