Likely because he has never scored one at the NHL level according to twitter.

So we need Germany or Latvia to win in regulation and we are in but if it goes to OT we are done? Am I looking at the standing right?

Remember when people wanted to give up valuable assets for Kuempner, that would have been terrible. This team looks like mostly depth guys and prospects, some look really good...some don't.
Power looks legit, I think he'd be the guy I picked with first overall.

Looks like Canada has a pretty good shot at making it now despite the terrible start to the tournament. Good for them for clawing their way back into it. But it sure shows the parity around the hockey world. No guarantees anymore.
Mangiapane has done really well at the tournament so far. Too bad Dube couldn’t have made the trip as well.

I'm not so sure about that. This tournament is almost entirely devoid of any a-list players, let alone top stars. All the scoring totals are inflated due to blowout wins. No team other than CAN or USA has more than 9 NHL players on their roster.
This isn't world parity. It's lowest common denominator hockey with whoever wants to show up.
Goaltending is clearly the difference. Goalies stealing tournament games accounts for most of the wins. Canada & US goalies are at a disadvantage due to the larger ice surface (different angles). Only two Euro teams have goalies on their roster who have played in NA.
Call me when the big boys show up.

Speaking of the Olympic Team, I had a little fun with that yesterday. This is how I would construct my team:
GMs: Sakic, Yzerman, Dubas, Brisebois
Coaches: Cooper, Trotz, Quenneville, Cassidy
Huberdeau - McDavid - Marner
Barzal - MacKinnon - Stone
Marchand - Crosby - Bergeron
Schiefele - Point - O'Reilly
Tavares
Plus, one of Lafreniere (if he explodes next year), Couturier, Giroux, Stamkos, Seguin, Couture, Toews, Hall
Theodore - Letang
Chychrun - Makar
Nurse - Hamilton
Ekblad - Pietrangelo
(Not necessarily in that order, I'm more just listing L and R)
Price
MAF
A 3rd Goalie (ex: Campbell, Binnington, Hart, Talbot, Kuemper, etc...depends who is playing well)
