Yeah, I am not worried. The report card for the Flames will come out in April. Way to early to be freaking out. To put things in perspective, TB has similar record, still in a playoff spot, a couple wins from the division leader, and all this with things not clicking.

Oh. Is Dube going to get Johnny, Monahan and Lindholm going from the bottom 6?

The first line needs somebody physical on it to make up for butter soft centre and Johnny.
Second line needs a centre who is a threat to score and once again can throw a hit.
Amazed that our GM could not see this after the last half of last year.

Bulls hit.....explain Lindholm. Hes not skating away from nothing without a raised elbow.
This team's gonna get it soon. Lucic is slowly getting going which is infecting players getting thier snarl.
Well.be ok

This tweet from Darren Haynes is suggesting that Friday nights in fun towns, may not be conducive to good performance on ice on Saturday nights!

If this is a real issue, it's really disappointing.

I've been assuming this to be a semi-regular issue ever since the Superbowl incident a few years back. I would imagine the players get a little leeway, but when you have to reprimand it's probably because the players show little accountability for themselves.

Just watched the PVR recording of the game. What can I say, wasn't a very sensible thing to do after a hangover... What a disgusting second period! The brawl in the 3rd was the only highlight.

I missed the game last night, so I cannot actually comment on how they performed, but I want to point out that this season L.A. and L.V. are 4th & 6th respectively in 5v5 xGF%
This is right in line with where Vegas has typically been the last couple of years and also fits what L.A. used to be under Darryl Sutter before their sequence of questionable coaching.
Making assumptions about partying, rather than giving credit to the opponents for their execution, seems a bit premature.

The GAF meter on this team seems stuck at 0.

Good job last night by the Kings, but Calgary is a better team than LA top to bottom.
If the GAF factor was there and they weren't hungover or sleep deprived from partying or whatever they should be fully capable of stomping all over LA. They just brought nothing yesterday. And the timing and coordination was way off, hence the late night speculation.
Less nights out on the town, more commitment to your multi million dollar job would go a long way.

Sorry about that. One thing led to another, and let me tell you... don't set the meeting spot as the graveyard.
TBH, I was kinda thinking it was time for a new set of friends. Does this mean I'm the hot one btw?

Kings are my new most hated team--When the canucks had Kesler, Burrows, Luongo and Bieksa they were clearly the most despised; they don't really have a personality now other than vanilla, and even though the Coilers are winning, like most Octobers, one losing streak they'll get Neal bringing his magic attitude to the dressing room and things will be back to normal for them, so it's more of a Nelson Munce "Ha-ha" for them.
But Doughty, Clifford and the Kings--there's some good hate brewin' there. Just don't understand why the Flames didn't seem to have that same hate tonight. Should be interesting next time they meet...

A flippant joking tweet by Hayes will now be used against this team and a few hand picked players for the next couple of years, great. Already an "if true" post.

I don't think that tweet was intended to be a joke. He's simply making an observation based on similar circumstances of the last few Saturday night performances.

They snoozed their way through the entire game. Effort wasn't there at all.

The line "Next Friday night — Regina, baby!" didn't make it obvious enough?
Hayes is a good writer but IIRC he doesn't follow the team on the road. Not putting much stock into the tweet beyond the fun poke at Regina at the end.
Unless Denver has an incredible Wing Wednesday I'm unfamiliar with.
