I have no idea how anyone could watch that period of hockey and come to this conclusion.

Are you sure? In fact, we scored in the 1st period in exactly all of our last 5 games.

It's the forwards coming down the center. They're lining up laterally on the rush.
Should be, puck carrier down the wing, far forward crashes the net hard to draw a defender away, forward coming down the middle hangs back a couple strides to get open for a shot.

They need to activate the D in order to open up the middle of the ice. Since the Flames rarely do this, teams collapse and force them to the boards, where they aren't built to succeed, imo.

At the game and they didn’t show a replay. It sure looked like a blindsided headshot on real time from up here.

Ducks and Kings will leapfrog the Flames if they don't find that killer instinct and keep pace. Let's hope they can.

Our team plays with zero emotion. Very disappointing performances at home

Penalty call to Bennett was a joke.
Not sure how the refs could watch the play, who had the puck, and in what zone, and conclude Bennett was the one that did the interfering.

Bennett literally had his back to him. If anything it was a pick on Bennett as he tried to track the puck carrier.

Were in the middle of a playoff race and theres no killer instinct or give a sh*t. We let every team walk into our barn and have their way with us.

Bang on. He is developing into a one dimensional player, regardless he scores lots of goals. I see #77 carrying the puck driving through the middle. Monahan more often than not just dumps the puck in. Not a good strategy for a first liner

They saw the guy with his hands on his head like he just got his head caved in, that’s why it was called. Bush league reffing as always

Will you turn the game back on to find out if they play better in the second? Or just turn it back on if you get a notification that we've scored a goal to tie it? Honest question.
